Porthcothan Clifftop Camping est un camping de retour aux sources situé sur le champ d'un agriculteur en activité, avec des robinets d'eau et des toilettes à compost uniquement lors de notre visite. Bien que des visiteurs plus récents aient également signalé une douche chaude. Lors de notre visite, il n'était pas possible de vider les eaux usées ou les toilettes chimiques, mais la vue imprenable sur la mer compense le manque de ces installations. …et en fait c’est pour cela que nous l’avons aimé car il est basique et non commercialisé. La baie de Porthcothan se trouve à 1,6 km par un sentier pédestre. Padstow se trouve à 15 minutes en voiture du site. Le camping est situé juste à côté du sentier côtier et de superbes plages de sable sont facilement accessibles en marchant le long du sentier côtier dans les deux sens. Les chiens bien élevés sont également les bienvenus. Si vous arrivez avec un camping-car ou un petit camping-car, recherchez un petit panneau sur la route et engagez-vous sur un chemin champêtre qui finit par aboutir au camping après environ 300 mètres (en traversant environ 3 champs) avant d'arriver au terrain du camping. avec la vue côtière. Porthcothan Clifftop Camping is a back to basics campsite on a working farmer’s field with water taps and a composting toilet only when we visited. Although more recent visitors reported hot shower too. When we visited there were no option to empty wastewater or chemical toilets but the stunning coastal sea view makes up for the lack of these facilities. …and actually this is why we liked it as it is basic and non commercialised. Porthcothan Bay is a mile away via a footpath; Padstow is 15 minutes' drive from the site. The campsite is located right next to the coastal path and stunning sandy beaches are easily reached by walking along the coastal path either direction. Well behaved dogs are also welcome. When arriving with a campervan or small motorhome, look out for a small sign on the road and enter onto a field track, which eventually ends up on the campsite after about 300 meters (driving through about 3 fields) before you get to the campsite field with the coastal view. Porthcothan Clifftop Camping ist ein Campingplatz auf dem Land eines bewirtschafteten Bauern, der bei unserem Besuch nur Wasserhähne und eine Komposttoilette hatte. Bei unserem Besuch gab es keine Möglichkeit, Abwasser oder Chemietoiletten zu entleeren, aber der atemberaubende Blick auf die Küste und das Meer gleicht das Fehlen dieser Einrichtungen aus. … und eigentlich hat es uns deshalb gefallen, da es einfach und nicht kommerzialisiert ist. Porthcothan Bay ist über einen Fußweg eine Meile entfernt; Padstow ist 15 Autominuten vom Campingplatz entfernt. Der Campingplatz liegt direkt neben dem Küstenpfad und atemberaubende Sandstrände sind leicht zu erreichen, indem man den Küstenpfad in beide Richtungen entlangläuft. Gut erzogene Hunde sind ebenfalls willkommen. Wenn Sie mit einem Wohnmobil oder einem kleinen Wohnmobil ankommen, halten Sie Ausschau nach einem kleinen Schild an der Straße und fahren Sie auf einen Feldweg, der nach etwa 300 Metern (durch etwa 3 Felder) schließlich auf dem Campingplatz endet, bevor Sie das Campingplatzfeld mit dem Blick auf die Küste erreichen.
