The lane is very thin, just enough room for you to park and a car to pass comfortably on the side. Yes the road’s a bit noisy from about 6.30am/7am but it’s a ROAD. I don’t know why people get mad that people use it? No signal for O2, but some on EE. Beggars can’t be choosers in a place as popular as this. All the “beauty spots” are rammed or you have to pay for a site. This place does the job!
Wenn man sonst nichts findet und richtig müde ist, dann ok. Sehr laut bis 23 und ab 6 Uhr. Sehr eng, wenn man parkt kann fast kein anderes Fahrzeug mehr durch. Und es riecht nach Urin.
people complaining about road noise ... of course there will be some since when did camping become so soft I'm happy as long as I don't get vandalised haha
We live near here and wanted to camp somewhere close to home to try our new truck camper out…it’s a fine spot if you’re in a pickle but the road is really loud and people pulled up at midnight and partied till like 2am with music blasting so kinda sucked but got some sleep from 3 till 7
Stayed here last night, 8pm- 6:30 am. Noise from main road. No covering from the road, so are exposed. Someone's house at the end of the lay-by.
Stayed here from 5am until 9am as moved from another location. No other vehicles in the layby, a fair amount of road noise from 7-7:30am. I had signal (with EE). Would highly recommend.
Good spot, as previous comments say road traffic till about 11pm and starts again around 6am. No phone signal at all so be prepared for this. I was the only van there mid week.
I was desperate so stayed. Road noise okay but lane very skinny . Worst thing was that there was Zero mobile signal.
Lots of road noise!! Quiet from 12-5. But otherwise ok and there is a bin in the layby.
Parked here for one night, no issues at all. Close to busy main road, expect car noises.
Good night sleep near Newquay. Quiet from 10pm until 5am. Near a busy road but with a grass verge.
