We stayed a couple of times in this place and we always had a very pleasant stay, It was very quiet and we felt safe although it was not lit and very dark. Nobody bothered us and it was free of charge. There is also an abbey nearby. There aren't any services available.
Pretty view over the abbey. Spent a peaceful night here. Another home on wheels joined in the evening, making the place feel very secure. Wine bar Aperta is great for the winelovers out there and also offers others a good meal. The day after we visited the abbey, took a stroll in the small village before leaving. No phone reception at all so bring a book or deck of cards.
Kein Schatten. Kein Service. Shotterparkplatz. Aber perfekt um das Kloster zu besuchen. Die kleine Bar am Ortsrand hat gutes Essen.

Posto tranquillo e in piano con una splendida vista sull'abbazia e a pochi passi da un piccolo centro abitato con ristorante.
Wunderbar, tagsüber war es rappelvoll, nachts waren auf dem riesen Platz nur 3 Fahrzeuge! Tolle Aussicht, sehr ruhig nachts !

Good spot, we stayed one night, but it wasn't too busy and barley any traffic in the parking lot. We enjoyed a nice moonlight-walk to the Monastery (500m) that is illuminated after dark. Also the cemetary is illuminated by candlelight, which gives the place a very peaceful athmosphere. Water is available behind the cemetary gates.
Abbiamo passato una notte lì la settimana prima di ferragosto. Parcheggio un po' abbandonato e polveroso, ma tranquillo e non lontano dal paesino, con vari ristoranti . Acqua subito dopo il cancello del cimitero !
Park del cimitero, poca pendenza. Meraviglioso, ottima vista su abbazia e valle di vigneti, ulivi e cipressi. No servizio ma molta pace e silenzio. A 200 metri ristorante pizzeria bar e un locale che affaccia sulla valle, molto scenografico. Per chi si alza presto al mattino avvistato cerbiatto sulla via che porta all'abbazia. Passata una notte fresca e silenziosa. Si arriva da strada bellissima
Pour la vue sur l’abbaye, un lieu magnifique. Un des plus beau de Toscane. Un privilège de dormir la. Pas de service, pas de wifi,pas de réseau ! Rien que l’abbaye,du bonheur. Possibilité de visiter le vignoble Palazzeti, Brunello et Rosato di Montalcino. Très bon accueil et prix correct !
Quiet spot to spend the night with views of the beautiful abbey. No cellphone reception, if you need it that’s a good reason to walk up to the town, which does have reception. Be sure to check it out for the medieval cobbled streets, panoramic views and cute cafes! There’s a small grocery shop, too.
Wir waren Anfang November da. Zagsüber voll besetzt, nachts waren wir alleine da. Ruhige Nacht verbracht. Keine Ver-/Entsorgung o.ä. Schöner Ort mit steilem Aufstieg. Bar/Restaurant und kleiner Supermarkt vorhanden.
Op zich een hele aardige plek maar geen of nauwelijks mobiel internet (laat staan gewoon mobiel bereik). Dat is wel een minpunt. Verder mooie plek, abdij is prachtig en het dorpje zelf ook
Parking zwyczajny, ani dobry, ani zły. W nocy wpadły dziki w odwiedziny. Zdecydowanie warto się zatrzymać dla okolicy, widoków i atmosfery. Mimo braku mediów z tego właśnie powodu daję 5*.
Parking très légèrement en pente au bord de la route mais passé 20h , très peu de circulation. Il y a un robinet à droite en rentrant dans le petit cimetière
Top ! Parking bus et CC. Vue sur l’abbaye, 5min à pied de la ville toute mignonne avec épicerie. Les poubelles ont été déplacées donc pas de bruit le matin à part reprise de la circulation mais pas très gênant.
Niks speciaals maar perfect om de prachtige abdij te bezoeken (5 minuten wandelen). We bleven enkel overdag, maar lijkt ons perfect voor ´s nachts! De weg ernaartoe geeft ook prachtige uitzichten dus geniet!
Nei pressi dei cassonetti della spazzatura, accesso sterrato in salita non molto comodo. Senza servizi. Sicuramente tranquillo per la notte
A great spot, only drawback is that car park has the village bins in it, so is frequently used by locals- especially early in the morning.
Calme, bel endroit. Stationnement payant jusque 18h. Un vrai privilège d’y dormir et de profiter du calme du lieu.
Emplacement avec belle vue sur l’abbaye. Le ramassage des containers a aussi lieu le vendredi matin. Sinon calme la nuit.
Pas trop top car le parking est aussi la dechetrie. Le camion passe à 6h le mardi. toilette payante et distributeur de billets au magasin de souvenirs tout proche. Le restaurant du carrefour est un bon rapport qualité prix.
