the lovely views are from the monastery square. you can't stay there (and big vans wouldn't even get in as it's through a tunnel). there are actually 3 levels of car park. 1 at road level, 2nd down a bumpy track, and 3rd even further down with very low trees so only suitable for very small vans. the bells do ring all night... at 22 mins past each hour!
Wunderschöner Ort. Wir haben hier eine Nacht im Juli geschlafen, die Aussicht vom Kloster ist toll und die Toiletten waren die ganze Nacht offen. Leider stinkt es aber am Parkplatz nach Abwasser (Sickergrube dort vielleicht?) und es gibt unglaublich viele Mücken. Die Klosterglocken leuten stündlich, was einen auch wecken kann. Wir beide konnten im Prinzip die ganze Nacht kein Auge zu tun…
Très beau spot, beaucoup de place, aucun bruit. Aucun service.

Nachts kam ein Mann vorbei, der sagte er sei Polizist (keine Uniform, kein Polizeiauto), der mich sehr lange befragte was ich dort machen und ob ich alleine bin. Als allein reisende Frau fühlte ich mich nicht mehr sicher, und musste nachts den Platz wechseln. Gruselig..
gratis. viele Parkmöglichkeiten. Toilette bis 18:30 Uhr beim Kloster (eigenes Toilettenpapier mitbringen). super schöne Aussicht. teilweiße etwas laut weil ein Generator am Parkplatz läuft, hat uns aber nicht gestört.
Fabulous quiet spot away from crowds and heat with terrific views to Gaeta and Sperlings. Flat, shady spot. Sometimes the water pump from the monastery came on but not during the night. No facilities. Toilet in the monastery can be used until 6:30pm. Take your rubbish and deposit in town not up there. Place is rather clean and should stay that way.
super panorama. il y a plusieurs parkings dont un près d'une grande prairie, génial pour les enfants. nous étions seuls. c'était très beau et calme. en journée il y a des toilettes dans le monastère. il y a aussi un départ de randonnée.
Ottimo panorama vista mare, strada comoda anche per mezzi di grandi dimensioni, ci siamo fermati solo per una pausa pranzo e abbiamo visitato il Santuario.
