lovely over night spot if you like having other motorhomes/vans around! toilets just a few minutes on foot

This car park will be closed from the 31st of July for the period of the sports hub build. Note posted at entry.

Je confirme mais pour être le seul espace no overnight parking à Truro, c'est bien trop étroit. Mais il existe merci au Club de cricket d'être accueillant. Je dirai 5 places plutôt que 7 et pas facile pour les plus de 6 m. de manoeuvrer.

An excellent stop - lovely view across the park. Easily accessed in our 7.5m van. We stayed in June, got there about 5pm and got the last space. Spent the night in the company of 3 or 4 other vanlifers. Felt safe.

Nice place, near sports field and park, but small. Only later in the afternoon, when we came back from Truro there was a spot available. Feels safe.

very safe and quiet. loos open all night in the 1st car park, not the loos in Boscawen Park. room for 5 motorhomes but also free unrestricted parking in the road. Nice area, duckpond and cafe.

Busy car park but easy to park come evening. Peaceful next to the river. One loo open all night and cafe. No ban on overnight. Proposed changes to free parking are 4 hours free then paid steps up to £10.50 further 24hrs and no ban on motorhomes so if that comes in, not bad Truro for that great spot

Just stayed overnight and it was perfect for walking into Truro. There were a couple of others parked up overnight and it was lovely and quiet. There is a cafe and toilets in the carpark. It fronts onto the river Fal and there is a park and other facilities like tennis courts and great for dog walking. Town will take around 15 min to walk.

Stayed here for one night, rocked up late at night so only one over van but vans kept arriving during the night, level ground and quiet but bit busy in the morning with walkers

Kleiner, ebener, geschotterter Parkplatz. Auch für große Wohnmobile geeignet. Sehr ruhig. Abfalleimer und Toiletten (nachts geschlossen) vorhanden. Sehr sehenswerte Kathedrale (dürfen auch Hunde rein) und nette Innenstadt.

Goede plaats om de nacht door te brengen. Vuilbakken aanwezig en toiletten die enkel overdag open zijn. Let op dat je nog een doorgang laat naar het sportveld. Bij ons was er 's avonds nog een helikopter (patiëntenvervoer) geland. Dus de ambulanciers moeten nog op het veld kunnen rijden.

très bon parking a la fois pour aller en ville et pour y dormir. très calme, toilette fermé la nuit par contre.

Posto camper promiscuo ad auto, comodissimo per visitare Truro e per dormire. Accanto vi è un bellissimo parco giochi e vari campi sportivi .

Je kunt er niet meer staan. Er zijn pilonnen neergezet.

Fantastic spot. Flat car park just off a reasonably quiet road. Enough space for 8 vans ( if sensibly parked) green space next to the car park ( no dogs as it’s a sports field) close enough to walk into Truro or to Malpas where there is a lovely pub. Quiet. Bin.

Merci pour cette excellente adresse calme et sympathique. Nous avons même eu droit à un match de base-ball hier. Par contre, ce matin, un panneau prévenait du risque provoqué par les balles des matchs de ce dimanche.

parking calme et bien placé à 10 minutes pieds pour visiter le centre ville,nous avons passés une très bonne nuit.

Stayed here on a Sunday night, a few other vans here too. Quiet night and lovely spot, someone else mentioned the generator that kicks in every now and again at the CC next door but I don’t recall hearing it through the night.

Wir haben hier in unserem Van eine ruhige Nacht verbracht. Die Stadt ist in ca 20 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen.

Stayed here for 1 night, upon arrival 2 other vans were here, with a further 2 more arriving as the evening progressed. Great spot, alongside a sports/cricket field. Dogs must be kept of a lead, rubbish bins situated around the field. Some road noise but nothing to really disturb your night. Good mobile signal on 3.

Great spot, quiet. Lovely meal at The Heron further down the road.

Good level stop with good signal. Lots walks nearby & was joined by few other campers & good sleep was had even tho others came walking dogs etc

With few options in this area, it was no wonder this place was full on arrival at 6pm. Moved to another carpark (no overnight sign) to make supper and consider my next move. Decided, 9pm to try here again. I could squeeze against the back hedge line and not hinder early access by other vans / MHs. Unfortunately the cricket club has an air con / refrigerator unit on and off all night !! aaaah !

Lovely area, loads of campervan parked on road and in Cricket club, many parked on the road, there are signs end of Malpas road past the cricket club saying No overnight parking, if parked at the cricket club walk down to the end of the road for some spectacular views of the water & boats

free small car park. Arrived around 10pm. About 5x other vans parked up. felt very safe and had a peaceful night sleep. toilets down the road, they were open at 8 when we needed them, which was great. would definitely revisit again.

Wat een topplek om even bij te komen. Lekker op het gras kunnen zitten. En leuk om te wandelen langs de rivier. De stad is wandelend goed te bereiken. En ook de andere kant op is leuke route langs de rivier. Zijn hier meerdere nachtjes gebleven. Overdag druk met parkeren. In de avond en nacht zeer rustig. Leuk om ook naar cricketwedstrijd te kijken. 2 Labcache’s en Geocaching gezocht.

Good spot used a little while back a couple of cars arriving and leaving at night, a couple of vans there too, several vans parked on road along the walk (15mins) into Truro. Great spot and quiet too.

Didn’t stay the night but great little spot for a free park up in the day. Plenty of campers around. Not just the cricket club, the whole road down is free parking. 20 min walk into town.

Quiet night here with a few other vans and some parked on the road. Toilets not far at all and are decent. Good stopover.

Excellent P4N. To be fair, we parked on the road but the P4N car park next to the cricket ground looks absolutely fine. We’ve seen worse toilets and nice to have them opposite us. Super convenient for the city centre and set in beautiful tidal river surroundings.

Calme, à proximité d’un terrain de cricket. Aire de jeux pour les enfants( pas de nuisances sonores) Ne pas compter sur les toilettes qui étaient lors de notre passage dans un sale état

Super quiet overnight park here. We struggled to find the toilets, but the spot is close to local services.

Platz für ca. 5 Wohnmobile/Camper. Parken auf Schotter relativ eben. Tagsüber viele Spaziergänger und Sportler, die das Freizeitgelände nutzen. Nachts sehr ruhig und erholsam. Ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt. Öffentliche Toilette auf dem Sportgelände 24h offen, allerdings nicht sonderlich sauber. Wenn der Platz bereits voll ist, kann man auch kostenlos in der gesamten Straße parken.

Top! Man steht gerade, abends ruhig, tagsüber wird das Fußballfeld genutzt. Definitiv nicht zu überlaufen. (Stehe hier meinem einem weiteren WoMo und abends kam ein Van) guter LTE Empfang (EE).

Parked here 04/04/23, < 7m motorhome. Arrived about 4pm, only 2 cars in car park, plenty of room. Took walk (25 min) along river into town visited cathedral and had some refreshment. Back at moho about 7pm. Two more vans parked up, by 8pm 5 vans of various sizes parked up. Had a quiet night. By 9am next day all vans gone. Would stay again.

We stayed here on 25/FEB/23 Just us and 1 other van, loads of room after daytime sports had finished. Lovely place to walk and only a short walk into city centre. Toilets available, dont forget that Radar key for after hrs. Also found water tap on corner in a bush. More parking out on main road should car park already be full. Really nice place, definitely will be back.

This has turned into an overcrowded holiday park. Packed with vans, huge Lutons & giant motorhomes some of which dont move and use multiple spaces with additional cars for the daily run around. The road also gets full all the way down. Its hardly an unobtrusive presence and Its a shame its no longer a nice place to stay and we will lose it, its just a matter of time before no overnight signs go up

Good spot! Except one noisy van turned up late with a loud music.

Stayed here for 1 night, Great spot quite & no bother one other van while we stayed, there was a site toilet at the edge of the car park not sure if it was locked as we have facilities in our van. Lovely walk with the pooch down the road

Great nights sleep, one other motorhome when we arrived

Wat een mooie rustige plek. Nu hier met 4 campers met een weids uitzicht. Een hidden camper-gem it is!

The car park was full of vans so we parked along Malpas Road outside, which was pretty level and loads of unrestricted parking. Quite a few cars passing until about 11pm and then from around 6am. Right next to a small park so good for walking the dog. The park also has public toilets and a water fountain. A few bins scattered around. Good 4G signal on EE.

Quiet night mostly, can hear occasional cars etc. Stayed on Friday night and there was a club Saturday morning but that’s no probs! Even had a fresh portaloo! With toilet roll!!!

Not in the cricket club, in the carpark next door (entrances are very close together). cricket club is private property. Good spot, flat, peaceful, excellent for walking in to Truro and very close to the estuary

Good ! but Tuesday nite is kids football practice, suggest staying away until 7.30 pm

Really good little spot. If you can’t get a space in the car park (like me tonight) then you can park on the street. It’s not too busy on the road and has a nice green space to walk your dog

We just parked up for the day on the road outside the club, 10min walk into truro. Great spot for the day and in the shade which was perfect in the heat wave. Could definitely stay the night but we had to move on.

What three words /// album.assist.punk. Shared this spot with one other van. Nice quiet spot. There is room to park on the road if the car park is full.

Space for a few vans although busy during cricket games but good for a night and short walk to the town.
