Useful stop on a long journey. Obviously not ideal due to overhead strong lighting but we have good blackout which I strongly recommend. A34 is busy but not too loud if you park well back. Perfect for a quick breakfast and early get away.
Great spot! parked overnight in spot near Starbucks and KFC. No issues at all. Starbucks closes about 7.30pm but opens from 5.30am and KFC is all closed at 10.30. M&S food store at the BP garage too. There is also a great place to walk your dog just through the bushes at the edge of the carpark near KFC drive through. Like everyone says there is noise from the road but it's not too bad.
bit of road noise here so if you are stopping, heavy insulated van or ear plugs may be required. other than that, great stop over. lots of spaces, KFC and a Starbucks either side of the car park.
Convenient stop before the M40 so no overnight charges/ANPR. I needed earplugs to sleep but once they were in had a decent sleep. Garage has toilets and a small shop, there's a Starbucks and KFC if you're into that sort of thing
Stayed on a Thursday night. Outside of a Starbucks, BP and KFC. One other camper, medium sized car park. No visible restrictions, road noise but could position yourself a distance away from the road if required. Would stay here again. Stayed again a few months later, no issues. Good place to break up a drive.
great stop over! considering it's a services, had a lovely quiet sleep! wake up, breakfast at starbucks- happy days!
decent services. noisy next to highway. no other cars after KFC closed. felt safe and out of the way. free water at BP takes about 20min to fill a tank.
A convenient stopover just off the M40. There are toilets in M&S Simply Food, open from 6am to until 10pm. We parked right at the back but could still hear quite a bit of traffic through the night. You can get groceries in M&S, eat in KFC and get tea or coffee in Starbucks. If you’re desperate, there is free water on the air, screen wash and water borne but the flow is very slow.
Stayed for 1 night in our camper van, road noise not bad if you park at the back. Felt safe. There’s M&S food in petrol station, KFC & Starbucks. Starbucks opened at 7am which was great if you need to use the bathroom & want a coffee. KFC open til 9pm. No facilities like shower, waste disposal & water. It’s a service station.
Good pit stop for a night. Toilet available at BP and fresh water refill at BP for £3. Free wifi connecting to Starbucks. But there is vehicle noise from the motorway at night.
A good overnight spot, which we also used on route north from Portsmouth ferry. BP fuel, KFC and Starbucks with drive through. No bathroom facilities but ideal for self contained motorhomes.
nice over nighter after arriving back in the UK at Portsmouth. Free WiFi from Starbucks was nice too. arrived at 1am, left in the morning
One overnight stop. We arrived at 10pm and left at 6.30 am. It was quiet, one car us and another campervan arrived during the night. A good place for an over nighter.
