Great little spot. Good views ( when it wasn't foggy!) Bit windy but what do you expect up here? Felt safe as a solo traveller. Very quiet. I got 2 bars of 4g on EE ( it drops off totally just down the road)

NewNomads02/01/2023Lovely and quiet! Only had one car drive past all night! EXCELLENT 4G on EE. Exactly at the entrance (outside) to Yorkshire Dales National Park. Lovely drive into the park beyond the spot to the south!!!

lovely quiet spot to park and a great walk to 9 standards rigg from here. be aware that you will need a map to attempt the walk as it is not well marked and some is over bog, its not for the fainthearted but the views are breathtaking!

Lovely quiet spot, perfect for 1 night. Wake up to a view of the moors. I don't think more than 1 or 2 cars passed us all night.
