Quiet spot to spend the night. There are some Lorry’s moving about but they didn’t disturb us once asleep. £15 via an app. Staff seemed a little curious to see the same person a few times but nothing said. — Edit to add: stopped on return journey for shower. Women’s is in women’s toilets southbound side, NOT travelodge. Clean and warm, key from WHSmith.
Services are now called Washington Services. Had free showers here today on the Northbound. Gents shower is in gents toilets, women’s shower is in the Travelodge (Northbound only) Both require you to leave vehicle keys. Gents key collected from WH Smith cashier. Wife’s keys left Travelodge reception All hot one star deducted for men’s shower floor needed a clean. Had Costa afterwards to say thanks
Give in your van key and get a shower key, parking for 2 hours for free i believe

Showers are warm, clean and free! Ask for the key from the attendants at WHSmith over the bridge (Southbound carriage). Drop your key off in exchange. Job done.
Sehr guter Service. Toiletten und Duschen kostenlos, außerdem viel Auswahl an guten Snacks. Die Duschen sind auf der Ostseite der Autobahn. einfach gegen die eigenen Fahrzeugschlüssel als Pfand tauschen.
