Now signs stating no overnight parking
Petit parking gratuit, suffisant pour 10 véhicules. Belle aire de pique-nique surplombant le lac et vous pouvez commencer le sentier des géants à partir d'ici. Beaucoup de mozzy cependant!
Free small car park, enough for 10 vehs. Beautiful picnic area overlooking the lake and you can start the Giants Trail from here. Lots of mozzy’s though!
Kostenloser kleiner Parkplatz, ausreichend für 10 Fahrzeuge. Wunderschöner Picknickplatz mit Blick auf den See und von hier aus kann man den Giants Trail starten. Allerdings jede Menge Mücken!

Fine park up but absolutely no signal here or anywhere around the lake, known as a dead spot
gorillajim30/06/2022I live not far from here, just be aware, parking meters are going in, and double yellows around the lake , Severn trent are even going to charge for events around the lake

Nice place to stop but was moved on by the ranger (or whoever). It was a bank holiday though so they may have been expecting campers. Any other time may be different.
rakarak31/03/2022Great spot. Spent 4-5 hours here…. Daytime. Lower parking slots one side of the road has a No OverNight sign, opposite side on raised area has no sign…..but a lone post!!!! A few dog walkers/cyclists parked up. Plenty of room to pop the roof. Quiet spot.

We stayed here in November and it was really lovely, quiet and empty. Not much signal.

Cracking little spot, the stars were beautiful unspoilt by light pollution. Absolutely pitch black there. Apart from a nearby stream and an owl no noise at all. I would expect it to be a perfect stop over in the summer with the picnic area across the road and the amazing views. Definitely recommend
