Didn’t park in the car park. Parked at the side of the swimming pool building on the left as u drive in. Off any main road so no traffic noise and no through traffic. Peaceful night x

Chromatix10/09/2023sehr ruhig, prima für kleine Wohnmobile, unser 5,43 m Kastenwagen passte perfekt in die Parklücke. An der Strasse unterhalb ist noch ein kleiner Parkplatz für Kleinbusse bzw größere Wohnmobile. Die meisten Parkplätze sind nicht eben. Duschen im Schwimmbad kostet 3.5 Pfund pro Person, Öffnungszeiten im Internet. Nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt, super!!

Quite uneven and slopey but a great central spot. got very busy with dog walkers but very quiet at night (only one there!) right next to beautiful forest and loads of good walks around if wanting a shower in pool check the times, it was shut when I was there!

Stayed a Saturday night. Very quiet. 10 minutes walk to town. Pool opens at 9am so best to away by then.

By swimming pool the parking was too small for us and on a slope. So parked overnight in the lorry park, quietest night spent, able to see the Scottish Tapestry.
