We just got a fine for 130 euros for parking overnight here. We might have been able to stay during the day, but the moment the parking attendant sees a motorhome or camper parked on a street, i think they classify it as camping rather than parking. We couldn't afford another £130 fine and gave up on Split
Man muss halb auf dem Randstein stehen, deshalb etwas schief. Ich verbrachte die Nacht auf dem grossen Parkplatz gleich daneben. Von 19:00 - 7:00 gratis aber auf 2.1m beschränkt.
Ce parking n’est pas gratuit, même hors saison. 4kn de l’heure de 7h à 19h la semaine et 7h a 14h le samedi, gratuit le samedi après-midi et le dimanche. C’est gratuit la nuit cela dit pas terrible pour les longs véhicules (+ de 6m) car ça dépasse bien sûr la route même en se collant au trottoir.
Best place for a parking and visit Riva. Free off season, but.. Lot of poeples during the day, if is in the restaurant on the corner concert, you will propably don't sleep. I think this park is a something like a dogpark. And somebody drunk in a car, was crash my left mirror and drive away.
Nous y avons laissé notre van 2jours et une nuit pour aller visiter l’île de Vis. Pas eu de problème même si cela nous semblait au début bizarre de laisser la voiture à moitier sur la route. A 15minutes du port du centre ancien .
Arrive very early to possibly secure a spot. We arrived at 8am and manged to find a park. The whole road is full of vehicles that are long term parking. We parked here for a few hours to visit old town (13minutes on foot). We were not fined or told to move on. Beach is within walking distance and there's a nice big park nearby with rubbish bins. Would not reccomend sleeping as it's way too busy.
