alexrooted15/04/2025BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!! We went in for 10 mins, paid for a shower, then left (didn’t pay £10 for parking because we would be so quick), and we got a £60 parking ticket from their CCTV. They take pictures of every license that comes in. Then we got a 2nd one a couple days later after being in there for 2 mins to fill up a bottle of water before we knew about this. AWFUL!
stefandbo19/10/2024We wanted to visit the Kingshouse Hotel but were put off by the parking fees, which start at £10 for 2 hours and can go up to £25 for 8 hours. the parking cost ultimately made us reconsider our visit

Recently added parking charges of £10 for 1-2 hours!!!! Can no longer easily stop off to use toilet facilities.

Anybody paying to stop here needs to think twice. They're only interested in a certain type of calibre of clients. Used to be really welcoming, but now they don't care less about the hikers or locals - just money. A really sad turn of affairs to everyone who did support their business during covid by dropping in when tourists couldn't travel....
florianemilie19/08/2024On est venu ici pour prendre une douche aux sanitaires publique mais après avoir payer que de l’eau froide ! Conclusion on a pas pris de douche car l’eau été glacé et nous avons perdus de l’argent ! En plus attention car le parking est également payant !
Theresa63914/07/2024Für die Duschen benötigt man Münzgeld. Wir konnten ohne Probleme Geld an der Rezeption wechseln. Duschen sind in Ordnung von der Sauberkeit und bleiben lange warm. 1£ pro Dusche.

Great showers. You will need a £1 coin. But great water pressure and private cubicles. As you drive into the hotel grounds head to the back of the car park. On your left is a bunkhouse and at the back is the tap and shower/toilet block.

Nous avons fait le plein d’eau mais au moment de prendre la douche, impossible d’avoir de l’eau chaude. On a testé les 2 douches sans succès et on a perdu 1£.

Public toilet around the back of the bunkhouse. showers there too. £1 for a hot shower. tap outside to fill up water. plenty parking can be busy with cars and mini buses.

Good facilities. Showers, toilets and free drinking water. Can easily get water can of any size under tap, we filled our 25L can up here. No toilet paper in the toilets when we visited so make sure you have your own just in case.
