Beautiful place, no miges, no internet, windy
Situé dans la réserve naturelle de Roy Bridge, magnifique et tranquille si vous cherchez à vous éloigner complètement du réseau, le parking est hors de la route, mais de niveau avec une vue spectaculaire à 360 degrés sur les environs. La route jusqu'au parking est à quelques kilomètres de voie unique et assez sinueuse mais beaucoup de passages pour le conducteur confiant
Located within Roy Bridge Nature Reserve beautiful and tranquil if your looking to go completely off grid, car park is off the road set high up but level with 360 degree spectacular views of surrounding area. Road up to car park is a few miles of single track and quite winding but plenty of passing places for the confident driver
Der Parkplatz liegt im Roy Bridge Nature Reserve, wunderschön und ruhig, wenn Sie komplett vom Netz gehen möchten. Der Parkplatz liegt abseits der Straße hoch oben, aber auf einer Ebene mit spektakulärem 360-Grad-Blick auf die Umgebung. Die Straße zum Parkplatz ist ein paar Meilen von Singletrails und ziemlich kurvenreich, aber es einige Passing Lanes für den selbstbewussten Fahrer.
Achtung: Zufahrt auf 7'6" (2,28 m) begrenzt!
Ubicado en la Reserva Natural de Roy Bridge, hermoso y tranquilo si está buscando alejarse por completo de la red, el estacionamiento está fuera de la carretera pero nivelado con espectaculares vistas de 360 grados de los alrededores. El camino hacia el estacionamiento es de unos pocos kilómetros de vía única y bastante sinuoso, pero con muchos pasajes para el conductor confiado.

vlold07/09/2025Seit dem 1. September ist hier eine Baustelle für die nächsten 6 Wochen. Dieser Platz ist erreichbar, es stehen Baumaschinen dort, man hat jedoch noch genug Platz zum Parken. Die Plätze weiter hinten sind für die nächsten 6 Wochen nicht zu erreichen.

Mooie overnachtingsplek midden in de natuur. Over een smal weggetje aanrijden. Echter bijna geen verkeer. Wel sta je pal in de wind. Bij ons waaide het mega hard, daar hadden we wel last van. Wel wat midges, maar niet storend. Er kwam om 1:30 's nachts nog een camper bij wat voor wat geluid zorgde, maar verder rustig en mooi in de natuur!

Super schöne Aussicht in alle Richtungen. Perfekt um mit Hunden spazieren zu gehen, besser anleinen da viele Schafe frei laufen. Anfahrt über Spean Bridge mit 6.40 m kein Problem, die Straße ist nur Kurvenreich mit Haltebuchten. Es gibt eine Gewichtsbeschränkung von 7.5 T für die Straße.

Rustig gelegen plek midden in de natuur. Perfect voor als je een middagje rustig ergens wil staan zonder iemand tot last te zijn. De weg er naar toe is een lange doodlopende eenbaansweg met passeerplekken. Maar met een groter busje goed te doen. Caravans kunnen de weg niet op. Plekken zijn vlak, maar er zijn geen prullenbakken.

Large spot with spectacular views of Glen Roy River and Valley. no bins or facilities. walks and viewpoint lovely. with some neighbouring Cows and Sheep and odd deer and bird of prey. Road in is like postman pat road with some tight curves so bigger rigs may struggle. No or very intermittent phone reception on vodaphone. zero reception on Three

Our third time here. We love this spot! Quiet, with only sheep for company. Generally level. Great views.

Amazing spot, lovely views. The road is small and curvy but not steep and it’s very quiet, only a few cars were coming. We had very good 4G phone reception for this remote location and sheep’s all around. We loved it and stayed for two nights.

Un endroit rare avec une vue superbe sur l'ancienne vallée glaciaire. Très calme et loin de tout. De la place pour au moins 3/4 vans. Faire l'ascension de la petite montagne derrière l'emplacement permet d'avoir un point de vue encore plus beau. Fortement recommandé

Toller Platz, sehr sehr ruhig und abgeschieden. Kann kühl und windig werden. Viele Schafe auf/am Platz, daher Schafskot auf dem Boden. Platz für ca. 4-5 Camper. Zufahrt für großen Sprinter unproblematisch - größer wahrscheinlich schwieriger.

There is a fantastic view from here up and down the glen, a really good overnight stop. It's about 6km up a narrow road and despite a bit of a bendy road over a bridge, our 7.2m motorhome was fine to drive up there (carefully though!).

Las vistas son increíbles, amanecer con las montañas y la puesta de sol es impresionante. Hemos estado en octubre recomendamos ir bien abrigado porque el viento es bien gélido. Perfecto para estar con perros. La carretera es estrecha para llegar y nos encontramos con un reno cruzando, ir con cautela.

Endroit merveilleux par contre inadmissible de voir qu une personne du parc soit obligé de venir ramasser les détritus dès camping caristes!!! Un peu de civisme!! Ramassez vos cochonneries avant de partir!!!

Lovely place with super nice views! It’s quite a long curvy single track road with passing places that isn’t so suitable for caravans. There’s enough space for at least 7 motorhomes and vans. But of course watch out for the midges!

Sehr schöner Platz, weit hoch gelegen. Um einen herum eine tolle Berglandschaft mit freilaufenden Schafen. Nachts und morgens war es sehr windig. Wir konnten trotzdem sehr gut schlafen. Ordentlich und aufgeräumter Platz. Keine Mülltonnen, so dass man seinen Müll mitnehmen muss.

Wauw! Echt een fantastische plek om te verblijven. Prachtige locatie met mooi uitzicht op Ben Nevis en natuurlijk de parallele wegen die te zien zijn op de bergen. Prima plek om te blijven voor een nacht.

Incredible spot with incredible views. Lovely and quiet with 360° views of Glen Roy, and the perfect spot to see the famous ‘Parallel Roads’. Only shared the spot with one other camper throughout the night.

Absolutely stunning spot with very interesting info board re the history and formation of the valley. Narrow and winding road in would not be suitable for very big motor homes or for unconfident drivers. Very exposed in high winds but perfect on a not too windy day.

amazing views with next to no traffic. Long winding single track road leading to it but well worth it. we didn't stay all night as we were heading to Nevis Range but were there all day. Next time we have an overnight stop to make it will definitely be here

SICK SPOT!!! beautiful views, lots of space to set up and cook some dinner. No midgies but sheep everywhere which is great! No service but you won’t need it here! This spot is an absolute must if in the area. Also short drive to Fort William.

Absolutely wonderful spot. Up on a hill with a stunning view. Level and enough space for up to 6 vehicles. The road leading to the car park is narrow. You can start a hike straight from the spot.

Didn’t actually stop, but walked up from Roy Bridge. A wonderful place and very clean. Road is very narrow and twisty. Not suitable for bigger vans.

Stunning views set in the middle of a valley which was once a loch plugged by a glacier (check out the information signs). Limited vodafone signal. No TV. Not too busy 1 other camper van and a car.

Really quite a beautiful view. Was a little busy, there was 3 motor homes including ourselves, but the view was worth it. I imagine you have to get here quite early like we did to ensure you get a decent spot on some days. No bin. Full strength signal for EE but limited on Giffgaff/O2.
