Zoals gezegd is het huidige overnachting tarief £15 en dat is prima ondanks dat er geen faciliteiten zijn. Om legaal geparkeerd te staan bleek echter een uitdaging. De pay by phone app had storing waardoor betalen niet lukte. De automaat accepteert alleen munten... geen papier geld, geen betaalpas of creditcard. Het kostte me anderhalf uur om een parkeerticket te bemachtigen, zonde van de tijd.
Okay park up but price is now £15 to stay 8pm-9am. Signs are a bit confusing - if you arrive before 8pm you will need to pay the daily charges which automatically cost double if you use the motorhome code on paybyphone. For the daily charges if you can fit in one bay use the car code so that you are only charged one bay.
Fab for staying overnight in this charming town. Re: paying: PaybyPhone app for online, choose motorhome location reference. However, if wishing to stay over night (£10), this is only available to purchase on the app after it’s actually gone 20.00, so if you want to buy it earlier eg at 19.00 it doesn’t work - you have to pay for your parking until 20.00 and then overnight tariff.
OK, it was raining very hard when I was there, so that would put a dampener on anyone's experience. You have to pay the overnight charge, £10, in coins. The app only works during the day. A long list of Dos and Don'ts on the notice board! £10 and no services? I felt like a pariah.
Great location. Just £10 for overnight. Machine only takes coins as payment. Or you can use the Ringo app. We arrived at 5pm so had to pay £1 for 3 hours to take us to 8pm then we were able to pay £10 for overnight option. Short walk into town and to toilets.
Stayed here a few nights back, good location however the fair was in town so was quite noisey so moved over to Modbury good value for money and hopefully that gets put back into kingsbridge.
Great facility - £10 for overnight and very cheap throughout the day. Spaces at the top end are flattest. Quiet at night and short walk into town. Cannot park anywhere else in Kingsbridge except Tesco for 2 hours. Had a great meal at Wild Artichokes.
Fairly big car park, not totally flat. No facilities other than glass bottle recycling and rubbish bins. £10 to stay overnight, bring coins as the machine doesn't accept cards. Was really quiet at night. A short stroll into Kingsbridge. Public toilets in Kingsbridge around 5 min walk away. Nice to stay somewhere that welcomes motorhomes
Stayed for one night in September. There was one motor home parked too. It felt safe and secure. Echo what others have said you need pound coins as Ringo does not work!

We stayed here for 1 night, very quiet place to stay. Fairly level/flat ground. £10 per night. No trouble or anyone wondering around, we felt safe. Would stay here again.
This is basically a car park but flat and fine for an overnight stay and also a good place for learner drivers to come and practice there driving skills it appears ?. Just add the app seams to be working fine know
Sehr ruhiger und zentral gelegener Parkplatz, um Kingsbridge zu erkunden. Man kann alles mit der App buchen. Ab 20 Uhr kann man All day buchen und dann ist das Ticket für 2,20 GBP 24 std gültig. Vor 20 Uhr verbucht die App dann nur bis 20 Uhr

quiet ish car park, loads of spaces, some pretty flat, bargain price, easily walkable into town. have stayed here several times.

Stayed here 1 night just before Christmas & had no problem parking up. Toilets were out of action, but we’re self contained so no real issue. It’s actually the Cattle Market car park (look for the signs). There’s a bit of a hill but we parked at the bottom where it’s level. We’ll definitely use it again (especially out of season)
A good over night carpark option, £10 and you will need pound coins. Daytime parking only £2 from 8am to 8pm. You can then get a bus from Kingsbridge to Salcombe, Dartmouth or Plymouth. A good option as it’s hard to find parking for vans in some of these steep sided Devon towns.
We had trouble paying here as the app didnt recognise the overnight parking option. The machine only took coins so we had to go to the town to get £10 in change. Otherwise it was a quiet place to stay.
