stayed here last night. lovely and quiet, there were quite a lot of campers here but still lots of spaces, as the other comments mentioned we had someone drive past around 11pm beeping the horn but we were still awake, apart from that it was a lovely spot with great views.
Really beautiful place and great for hiking! I’ve spend two nights here, and felt fairly safe. Both nights people have driven by and honked their horns 5 or 6 times i think.
stayed one night. large gravel parking. pretty level in places. paths nearby. Fantastic views and sunset. Very quiet in the evening. the road is hardly used at night. we didn't hear one car. it is exposed so would be a wild night if very windy. I would definitely stay there again.
Stopped last night with a covering of snow, awesome clear skies, good 4g and TV signal, not much traffic after 10pm until after 7am, will be back after a stopped over at the coast on way home.
Kiessplatz mit schöner Aussicht. Leider direkt an der Straße, so dass man ein wenig ausgestellt ist. Die Straße ist nicht stark befahren, wir schliefen daher gut.

Amazing spot. Very quiet, great views, and even had good network coverage. Will definitely come here again when near this way.

We stayed last night turned up about 9pm last minute get away spot on then moved on to camp site will be back again !
Had a nice fairly quiet stay, beautiful views of sea and moor’s, had one probable local 10pm honk there horn in anger as passing but we wasn’t asleep yet anyway so not phased, did have a log artic lorry pull up in evening and left around 5am starting his lorry to build air before leaving woke me up but not family, only doing his job, no complaints from us but just be aware still 5stars
Lovely views, stayed here one night, little traffic through the night, but nothing that bothered me, very slight sloping from right to left. woke up to heavy rain wind and fog. no signs stopping overnight camping.
As of today (16 Sept 2024) there are no signs whatsoever. We just stopped for a brew but nothing to suggest you can’t stop overnight

Great place to park after collecting your fish and chips form Sleights just down the road towards Whitby
Great views over to fylingdales and of course the new mine. Great sunset

beutiful spot. perfect views quiet and good internet signal. unfortunately got moved on before nightfall by a farmer. said its no overnight parking.
Decent enough spot for a stopover. Some traffic noise and other vehicles pulling in and out at times. Fairly flat but very exposed so be cautious if it's due to be windy
Far enough off the main A road that it’s not too noisy during the day, and quiet at night. Great sea views in the distance on one side and views over the moors on the opposite side. Good 4G signal. A good stop over on the way in or out of Whitby/Goathland.
