Good spot to visit the town, Cathedral, Normandy Museum, etc. Free at night. Machine didn't work to make daytime payment but no hassle. Only service was the waste bins. They were fairly full but we didn't need them. Plenty room to park. Thanks to the Municipality for providing this place.

14.09.2025. Geparkt um die Stadt zu besichtigen. Dann aber auch noch übernachtet. Sogar kostenlos, weil der Automat defekt war. Insgesamt waren wir 14 Mobile. Für eine oder zwei Nächte vollkommen in Ordnung. Unsere 7 Meter haben perfekt in die Parkbucht gepasst. Danke an die Stadt Bayeux.

Für den der sparen will oder muß, ist der Platz was. Der Platz ist für Wohnmobilisten nicht so das ware, da sehr laut und dreckig. Wir sind auf den Campingplatz gefahren, der sehr gut war.

On c'était garé sur l'autre parking CC (poussiéreux, sale, bruyant à côté de la route) pour visiter BAYEUX (vraiment à voir, impressionnant, magnifique) mais au retour on c'est déplacé sur cette aire le long du cimetière, même tarif en conservant le premier ticket, propre, goudronnée, plat, beaucoup de place, calme, nuit très bien, très près du centre

Gut, um die Stadt zu besichtigen - tolle Lichtershow bei der Kathedrale um 23:00! Tagsüber viele Wohnwägen, in der Nacht nur wenige. Parken Sie am Ende des Parkplatzes, am Anfang steht ein Wagon mit einem Dauerbewohner, es wirkt ein bisschen komisch. Wir haben trotzdem dort geschlafen und es war alles ok.

centrale ma due roulotte a pezzi con degli stanziali inquietanti tra cui una bambina in condizioni pietose. siamo rimasti solo perché era tardi, la zona era residenziale e la gendarmeria era a pochi metri. dovrebbero ripulire i posti per i turisti da questi personaggi. lo spettacolo della cattadrale non lo fanno prima delle 23.. troppo tardi sia per i bambini che per tornare con quelli in giro

Located in a residential area, very quiet overnight. Free to park during the day, and €5.50 from 6.30pm-8am. Overall an excellent spot for visiting Bayeux!

Arrived at 15:00, still plenty of spaces. Managed to park 8m motorhome but had to have one wheel on rear path. Lucky we had hydraulic levellers or it would not be easy to get level. Very convenient for city centre

Parking goudronné idéal pour visiter la ville à 10mn à pied. Calme de jour comme de nuit. Les emplacements sont un peu courts, les camping-cars de plus de 6m devront occuper plusieurs places mais ce n'est pas un problème. Merci à la ville d'avoir pensé a nous.

cheap overnight parking. no real noise. sites weren't quite level, but easily solved. no complaints, but probably only good for a night or two at the most, while exploring Bayeux.

We stayed 3 nights in March without any problems. It’s a quiet neighbourhood but only a short walk to everything. We bought the 3 museums ticket and all were really high quality. For your information, the tapestry museum will close in September 2025 for 2 years. The town is lively. We’ve given it 4 stars because it doesn’t have water or grey & black disposal but it has recycling and rubbish bins.

Two men tried to break into my vehicle at 2am. Noisy road at night and during day. However, very close to centre, museums and the cemetery.

This carpark was great. It was very quiet overnight and only 2-3 vans parked. It is about 10min walk into town and 10-15min to cathedral and Bayeux Tapestry. Good to leave the car there and walk to attractions. 5euro50 for the night.

Fantastic parking for mohos and very near the town centre. Free, what more to ask bearing in mind it is just a parking area. No water or electricity but we have paid in nearby areas 13E or 14E just to park and extra for water. No services of any kind but would use again if around. 5.50E for overnight. However, a camper told us they had been there for 6 weeks without paying and nobody checked.

Good place to park overnight and visit the museums and town. Lovely shops & restaurants. There still construction vehicles and some works, but plenty space to park & very quiet (next to cemetery). On night one there were 2 other campers and on night two, one other. Trash & recycling but no water. Overnight charge €5,50 as stated.

Some roadworks taking up half the parking spaces, but I’m the only one here so doesn’t really matter. Nice feel to it and easy walk into town centre. You could stay 50 yards away for free though. Still good though for a city centre

Great spot. Perfect for a 10 minute walk into the town. Basic but felt safe and pleasant enough. Only pay overnight so very cheap. Round the corner from the moving British cemetery and the v good Battle of Normandy museum. Just 12 euros for that and the tapestry as a combined ticket- v good value. Gorgeous little restaurant near the cathedral - Assiette Normandy. Lovely food.

Der Platz ist tagsüber kostenlos, die Übernachtung kostet ab 18:30 Uhr €5,50. Wir waren für 1 Nacht hier & es war sehr ruhig. Die Parzellen sind teilweise etwas kurz und schräg. Da der Parkplatz nur einen Mülleimer hat, weder Strom, noch V+E nur 3 Sterne.

Parked here during the day for free to visit the city and stayed overnight for €5.50. Was quiet and felt very safe. Very small spaces so ideal for campervans or small motorhomes. Even in winter there were half a dozen others here.
