Amazing white beach! 5 pound cash! 4 other campers, but still nice. Will come back!
C'est juste un parking en face d'une magnifique baie à Ardtoe, une route très longue et sinueuse, mais qui vaut le détour, mais la route semble sans fin, nous avons un camping-car de 8 demi-mètres avec remorque pour moto et nous l'avons géré correctement, de belles plages sur place et plus loin.
It's just a car park opposite a beautiful bay in Ardtoe,a very long and wyndy road, but well worth the drive, but road does feel never ending, we have a 8 half mtr motorhome with motorbike trailer and managed it OK,beautiful beaches opersite and further around.
Es ist nur ein Parkplatz gegenüber einer wunderschönen Bucht in Ardtoe, einer sehr langen und kurvenreichen Straße, aber die Fahrt lohnt sich, aber die Straße fühlt sich endlos an. Wir haben ein 8-halb-Meter-Wohnmobil mit Motorradanhänger und haben es gut hinbekommen, schöne Strände in der Nähe und weiter herum.

jb30ew3025/07/2025This location is stunning. We turned up, and sadly (our fault) wasn’t suitable for us in a roof tent set up. The location is quiet and secluded but you need a self contained unit as there are NOT toilets on site, but if you have this, I would recommend. We hope to be back some day just wanted to post to make it clear what it’s suited for.
PeteKelly21/06/2025Fantastic stopover. Well worth the 5 mile journey from the main road. £5/night. 2 stunning beaches, sunset views. Faultless. Toilets, bins and a fantastic bakery with excellent coffee back at Arcaracle. Only 2 other vans there on Friday, midsummers eve.

The pin for this is marginally wrong, it should be here 56.768221, -5.882489. There is only a small turning space at the current pin. Admin have been advised so hoping it will be altered. It's a great spot that is shared with local residents so not many spaces. No walks although a great dog exercising beach and safe swimming in good weather. There is very patchy signal if that is important.

What a fantastic stop. We stopped as a family of 3 with a dog. Great view, bins, water point level ground and easy access to a fantastic beach. 10 mins drive off main road defo worth it. Drive right to the end. Pay £5 for campers through the letter box. 10/10

No signposts apart from a sign saying car parking £1. the info for motorhomes is on the front of the building which you can't see but it's the last possible right before it turns into a private road. Having already paid to stay here, we decided to try another spot due to how busy it was and the lack of signal. The beach here is absolutely beautiful though so would still recommend

Lovely spot close to 2 tiny beautiful beaches. Great to have a water tap. 4 campers there the night we stayed, room for maybe 1-2 more. Beautiful drive down from the main road, we’ll worth the £5 for the privilege of staying here.
Tim.Blom28/07/2021Great spot. lovely view of the bay. the only 'facility' is a tap for drinking water. only 2 vans on a Tuesday in July. has capacity for quite a few more (say 6 max).
