We were excited to stay right under the castle wall...however, a local man advised us to move to the other side as occasionally bits of stone tend to fall down and could damage the van. This move vastly improved our view of the castle, so all happy. We were the only vehicle in the 'second' car park which didn't give confidence but all was well. Lovely town to explore & of course the castle too!
no height barriers in place at the side road going towards castle entrance and also the corner near the road junction both are opened, the only height barrier is beside the large statue, everywhere else is no problem, you can park in the car park or on the grass & gravel section no problem and lots of room, nice town and beautiful historic castles and churches within very easy walking distance

Accès sans contrainte ce 15 août 2023. Merci à la ville de Gisors. Très pratique car au pied du château (visite de 2heures, très très intéressante. Réservation à l'office de tourisme à env. 300m) et proche du centre ville. Par contre, aucun service ....

Grassed area is blocked off again so you can only park in the regular carpark but it ok if you reverse up to the grassed area. The town and cathedral are well worth the short walk into town. Quiet overnight.
Visiblement le parking en herbe est un lieu de deal, on nous a clairement fait comprendre que l'on gênait.
Nous étions garés pour la soirée et la nuit mais apparemment nous gênions ! Une golf avec 4 jeunes est venue faire des dérapages autour de nous, et 2 voitures sont venues se stationner près du camping car, les jeunes gens restant à l'intérieur.... Peut être lieu de deal ! On a bien compris qu'il fallait partir sinon nous risquions d'être dérangés cette nuit ! dommage car spacieux et ombragé
La partie en terre battue à été réouverte au stationnement. Idéal pour les grands camping car.

La partie terre est inaccessible (plots béton). Il reste le parking voiture, bien occupé, pratique pour une visite du château et de la ville. Pas d'interdiction, mais pas top pour y dormir.
You can now only park in the busy carpark. Parking on the grassed area has been stopped. If you arrive after work time it won't be a problem it's quite big. There is an height barrier at one entrance but not at the other side of the carpark. .
C'est un parking inexistant, inutile de le mettre sur un site de recherche c'est bien dommage il était très bien situé c'est a ce demandé si les camping car sont les bienvenus
Nuit tranquille sur la partie terre/gravier mais en période de couvre feu . Attention il reste une ancienne barre de hauteur côté rue principale mais pas de problème d’accès du côté de la rue qui mène au château.
