Ceci est un parking à l'arrière du pub appelé The Heron free house. Bonne nourriture au pub, accueil chaleureux très sympathique. Le personnel est très charmant. Grand choix de gin et autres boissons. Ils étaient stricts avec les règles covid. Même dire aux habitués locaux de porter un masque au bar.
Site propre avec branchement électrique.
Nous sommes arrivés pour le déjeuner et le propriétaire nous a permis de rester pour 15 £ + TVA. Chiens acceptés pour les chiens bien élevés. Marché de Downham à distance de marche le long de la rivière à environ 1 mile. (Donc environ 20 minutes à pied) je le recommande!
This is a CL site out the back of pub called The Heron free house . Great food in pub very friendly warm welcome. Staff very lovely. Great select of gin and larger not sure about ale as not drinker so paid no attention to it. They were strict with covid rules. Even telling local regular off of not wearing mask at bar. Clean site with electric hook up. We turned up for lunch and the owner allowed us to stay for £15+vat. Dog friendly for well behaved dogs. Downham market walking distance along the river about 1 mile. (So about 20 minutes walk) would recommend .
Das ist eine CL-Site im hinteren Teil des Pubs namens The Heron Free House. Tolles Essen im Pub sehr freundlich herzlich willkommen. Personal sehr nett. Große Auswahl an Gin und größer nicht sicher über Ale als nicht Trinker, also achtete nicht darauf. Sie waren streng mit kovid Regeln. Reinige Stelle mit einem Stromanschluss. Wir kamen zum Mittagessen und der Besitzer erlaubte uns, für £ 15 + Mehrwertsteuer zu bleiben. Hundefreundlich für gut erzogene Hunde. Downham Markt zu Fuß entlang des Flusses ca. 1 Meile. (Also ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß), würde empfehlen.

Stayed for 1 night. Pub food is excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Small camping park up to rear of pub next to canal. Frequent trains in use on opposite side of canal. You can hear them but they are not obtrusive. Water. Waste disposal. EHU available. Bins.
Just stayed the one night, we were the only ones but lovely stay, train line near by but didn’t spoil it for us. Fresh water, grey waste and chemical toilet disposal. No toilet block, but toilets available at the pub in opening hours. £10 per night without ehu, £20 with. Pub very busy and inviting, food great. Highly recommended.
Stayed at the Heron 24th Feb 23 very good food with local atmosphere. £20 including electric hookup. Very quiet and peaceful night and would happily stay again. Thanks
Very welcoming hosts 20£ with electric. Water, chemical waste disposal and electricity points all new. Very pleasant & efficient staff in the pub & food very acceptable at a good price.
Small 5 van site to the rear of the Heron Pub well kept site water and waste disposal small charge pub was shut due to COVID ideal for a stroll into Downham Market
