Beautiful, quiet, place at night. Arrived at 0130 Saturday morning it was perfect. No one around. rowing club members & dog walkers started arriving 7am. Point to note for dog people! I did NOT see 1 person use a dog lead or poo bag! Many people & dogs, the dogs were completely ignored. As a dog handler, I am totally shocked at the irrisponsillbility! Be advised & Please be careful with ur pups
Stayed here last Saturday night, peaceful and secluded, but the rowing club starts showing up about 0630...
We had a very peaceful Saturday night. Dog walkers and rowers from around 8am on Sunday morning. No problems or issues at all. Only a 15 minute walk into the centre. Would definitely use this again.
Very quiet on a Thursday night. Just me another van. No disturbances. Waze had me getting there under a low bridge, 2.4m. Although my van is just over 2.5m, I fitted under going one way but not the other (where you pass under height chains first). Google maps took me another route avoiding said bridge.
Spot très calme, des promeneurs et des cyclistes, un peu plus de monde au moment des entraînements du club d’aviron. 24h sur place, nuit très tranquille. À proximité du centre-ville en longeant la rivière. Pub Exeter’s arms à recommander pour un bon repas. Attention, plusieurs ponts de la ville mesurent 2,40 de haut!

Very quiet overnight. Trees and river at the back and walk along the river into town is easy and pleasant. There is a path in front of this park up and people were walking along until 11pm ish (hot weather). I left van for the morning and went into the city all good. A one night only stay is day as it is the rowing club car park really. Dog walkers and rowers arrived very early.
Amazing place for an overnight stay, quiet, feels safe and there is a beautiful walk nearby.
We were the only vehicle parked on a Tuesday night, very quiet and peaceful with the river on one side and a large grassy hill between us and houses. Joggers, cyclists and dog walkers went past on the path in the morning without disturbing us.
Large spot with bins, lovely place to wake up to, however, Friday nights usually accompanied by loud music and drug deals. Please note Derby rowers show up at about 6:30am Saturday and Sunday morning. Had more good nights than bad but have felt unsafe as a female solo van lifer.
Amazing little spot, close to the town centre, just a 15 minute walk along the canal. Beautiful views of the river and peaceful nights sleep. Stayed here for two nights with noone disturbing us.
This is an excellent stop. By the river, near the centre and really quiet at night. Surprisingly few passers by after 10pm on a warm Saturday night. Lots of rowers and dog walkers in the morning. Small bin at the edge of the parking. Lots of walks into the park or along the river.
Chose this after reading the comments. turned up 10pm Friday night. Contrary to most of the reviews, this spot was full of joy boys toking weed and blasting that awful rave music they all listen to. Had a group stare at me as I crept in on arrival. Shortly after, two cop cars show up. Made my exit. Take your own chances wi this spot!

Beautiful spot beside the water. Packed with dog walkers and rowing enthusiasts in the morning. Tranquil.

We arrived around 9:10pm, no-one else there. Parked right next to the building. Had a couple of people walk passed, still quiet. Woke up to a few other cars and dog walkers. Would stay here again.
Arrived around 10pm , one other van there, very quiet , safe , popular with dog walkers and runners as your right on the riverside, beautiful spot !!
Arrived late. No other vehicles and very quiet. Lots of runners and dog walkers early In the morning, but didn’t seem that anyone minded my T25 there. Great location, flat, easy access
