A useful lunchtime walking spot with a large sunny, grassed area with a few picnic benches. Free. No toilets. A sign on the gate says “no camping”.

rdsanders31/07/2021Good place for a daytime stop. stayed for a few hours for a pre night shift nap - very quiet and safe. Couldn't see any signs about overnight parking or hours etc but there is a gate/barrier at the entrance so assume it gets locked up at night.

October 2020. No overnight parking. Spacious car park. 1km, 1.5km, 2.5km marked gentle level woodland walks. We did the 2.5 in 40 minutes.
