Stayed on our way to an event. Perfect for the dogs plenty of walks. Keycode system for the amenities and all codes given as you arrive and check in. Shower was ok could do with a good clean. But for the price we would definitely stay again. A real bonus is no extra charges for dogs :) a £15 deposit is required to make sure you don’t break the strict fire rules. Or allow people in after hours.
Nach 3 Wochen schöner Campingplätze. Hier 24 Pfund für 1 Toilette, die anderen waren abgesperrt. ca 70 Gäste. Der ganze Rasen voller entenkake, nie wieder
Eigentlich eine schöne große Wiese mit Gänsen, Kaninchen, Fuchs und Grauhörnchen. Aber sich telefonisch anzumelden, weil man nach 16 Uhr kommt ist super langwierig. Die Mail mit den Zugangscodes enthält zu viele Information. Den Preis halte ich für zu hoch, 28 £ plus Kaution 15£ denn es gibt keinen Strom, der Zugang zum Müll funktionierte nicht.
Lovely place. Large field. Water tap in field. No grey waste but told to pour into hedge. Elsen point. Cafe next door. Lovely walks. £24 for motorhome, 2 adults. Next to railtrack and flight path into airfield but okay and very quiet at night. Staff really helpful. Gates to field locked, barrier to canal visitor centre down at night. Codes given Currently Building a toilet block in field.
Lovely campsite directly near the Canal centre. Stayed one night on a big grass field with 10 other camper vans. Plenty of space. Payed 20,5 £ for one night and 15£ deposit for the key to the gate of the field. Directly next the canal. Would visit again!
mooie rustige locatie bij een kanaaltje ruime weide . het is online te boeken of melden bij de receptie maar deze is geopend van 10.00 uur tot 17.00. Daar moet een sleutel worden gehaald om op de weide te komen, dit in verband met het weren van dagjesmensen. wij betaalden 20,5pond voor het verblijf en 15 pond Borg voor de sleutel van het hek.Douche en WC toegankelijk door een code van de receptie

Lovely site, located next to the canal centre. Great walks along the canal and you can hire boats/canoes from the centre. The toilets and showers serve both the canal centre visitors and campsite and there isn’t really enough facilities for a site of this size, but if you’re self contained or just for a night or two then it is lovely.

I stayed in my campervan with my two dogs. Lovely big field for camping. Loads of space. Gorgeous wooded area behind for dog walks. Facilities are a bit of a walk if you park near the woods (like I did!) It was very easy to find and convenient for the motorway. Lovely!
Car campers must erect and use a tent, toilet tents or shower tents allowed paid for as a full-rate tent. Toilet and showers basic but cleaned during the day and behind a code at night. Bins and recycling. Wednesday to Saturday the tea room is a Thai restaurant at night. Bring your own alcohol. Picturesque, clean and historic. Came for one night but stayed for two.
Great space to stay with your family. Enough forest to play for children and very dog friendly. We loved being able to just pick our own spot and seeing the canal up close.
Lovely location, walks along the canal and a couple of pubs near by. cafe does a tasty full English. plenty of space for camper vans and tents. Could do with more showers and toilets. campervan price is £10.50 plus £4.50 person per night.
Nice surrounding, little cafe was sweet. Next to the canal, shower/toilet facilities, rubbish/recycling available so that was handy
Einfacher Campingplatz , sehr großzügige Flächen , Infrastruktur im Besucherzentrum (WC ,Duschen ) .Besucherzentrum nur bis 16.45 h besetzt. Wasser am Platz ,kein Strom. Ruhige Lage ,gut für Übernachtung. Campervan mit 2 Personen 18 Pfund .
