Lovely stop for the day but signs on both parking areas for no camping etc look fairly new. The signs also claim the area is patrolled by Rangers - we did not chance it as we did not want to be woken at the crack of dead!!
StefanoFerrari25/10/2020Two small parking spots next to Bassenthwaite Lake. Both can take 4/5 motorhomes. One has no sleeping sign on a tree, other doesn’t. Had no issues parking overnight. Lake has good access for swimming or kayaking just down the steps from the car park. Lakes distillery just a short walk away.
