Great place! A lot of nice folks out there.

Première nuit en Ecosse et ce spot nous a vraiment plu. Le coucher de soleil est incroyable. L’emplacement est relativement plat. Nous étions 3 vans. Les balades à fair sont top. La nuit a été très calme. Aucun passage, pas de vent donc pas de bruit. On recommande cet endroit.

nous étions 6 vans pour la soirée. Très belle vue, emplacement propre. Quelques passages de voitures Beaucoup de vent et on entend le bruit des éoliennes

There's a campsite in a gentle field that can accommodate about five campervans. The views are truly breathtaking. We stayed here for one night before heading to Edinburgh, which is about 60km away.

Toller Spot mit guter Sicht. Relativ busy (4 WoMos). Aussicht ist aber auf dem kostenpflichtigen Farmgrundstück die Straße runter noch Mal besser. Spaziergang zum Fast Castle ist toll

Sans problème bon spot, trés fréquenté. Nous étions 5 campeurs sur le spot. On a stationné dans l'herbe le long de route légèrement a l'écart avec une superbe vue. Passage de voiture en direction de la ferme jusqu'à 19h. Aucune circulation la nuit. Marcher un peu le long de la route et approché vous de la falaise les vues avec la bruyère en fleurs magnifique

Ottimo spot per passare la notte con una tenda da tetto, non abbiamo avuto problemi con il vento. Strada per niente trafficata, passavano ogni tanto solo persone del posto.

Sehr schöner Platz waren eine Nacht hier und hatten einen tollen Sonnenuntergang. Tagsüber einige Einheimische zum Spaziergang aber alle super freundlich. Es is sehr windig gewesen aber einfach wunderschön.

Beautiful spot but didn't stay overnight due to the wind. Also very little signal. Really nice views though.

Super spot pour un coucher de soleil sur la mère et une nuit calme. Il y avait déjà bcp de monde nous nous sommes mis sur l’herbe à côté. Seul inconvénient nous n’étions pas protégé du vent et ça souffle bien sur la falaise. Pas de midge de ce côté. À laisser propre

Ein sehr schöner Ort zum Übernachten. Ein herrlicher Ausblick und überall Schafe als Nachbarn :) Es ist sehe ruhig und gut zum übernachten. Super Stellplatz! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen :)

A great pitch semi sheltered from the winds. Great access to walks to St Abbs Head. Room for 4-6 vehicles.

Great calm place with view over pastures and sea right from a van. Because its open to sea, it can be extremely windy. Around ten cars drove past during day, none during night. I spend night here with four other camper vans, during day I was alone. Whole place is level, but after rain rear third may be flooded/muddy. There are several options for walks, Fast Castle being the most used.

The views are amazing! Definitely recommended. Also great for walks with a dog.

Schöner Platz mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Es ist sehr ruhig, ab und an fahren ein paar Autos vorbei, aber das stört nicht. Wir standen hier für eine Nacht mit vier anderen Fahrzeugen. Wir hatten alle kleinere Camper. Ich denke, bei größeren Wohnmobilen passen nur drei Stück an den Platz. Der Platz ist sehr sauber wir würden wiederkommen.

Ótimo ponto no meio da natureza, bom vista para o mar. Espaço para 2 ou 3 motorhomes, depende do tamanho. Não tem serviço, se tiver autonomia, é um ótimo lugar para passar alguns dias. Mais movimentado no fim de semana.

Was für ein schöner Platz! Toller Blick auf das Meer und den Firth of Forth. Bitte haltet den Platz sauber!

Absolut ruhig. Wenn ein Fahrzeug vorbeikommt, sind es andere Camper oder Anwohner. Mitunter sehr windig, aber wenn man in die Einbuchtung reinfährt wird es besser. Wir standen mit unserem TI (7,4 mtr) weiter vorne mit super Panoramablick. Hier gibt es null und nichts, außer den Ausblick und die Ruhe. Wir würden wieder kommen.

sehr schöner Platz, relative windgeschützt im hinteren Teil, aus anfangs 2 Campern wurden gegen späten Abend leider 8 Fahrzeuge - das war definitiv zu viel, je nach Größe max. 6. bitte schützt die Natur & so wundervolle Plätze. Stellt euch nur auf den "Schotterplatz", nicht in die Wiese! nehmt euren Müll mit damit uns solche tollen Aussichten erhalten bleiben. wenn voll dann weiter fahren danke

Wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht mit 3 weiteren Campern und einem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Anfangs war es noch sehr windig, aber das hat im laufe der Nacht nachgelassen.

Wow, what an amazing spot. Beautiful views over the coastline. High on a hillside in a sheltered spot back from the single track road, with very little passing traffic. Fairly flat and level. Had a great night's sleep.

Stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend. Stunning place! Perfect for walking also. Very little traffic in the night. It did get busier on Saturday night. Very little coverage on 3 mobile, but that didn’t bother us, we had the view

Beautiful spot at the coast, you can see the sunset from your window. It was quiet, though a bit windy. A few cars passed on the road during the day. There were 3 other vans, when I got there.

Beautiful, beautiful spot with incredible views. No noise or light pollution, so you can see the stars. Such a quiet spot. 4 other campers there when I got there late, probably space for about 7 or 8 if everyone tucked in. A few flat spots too for those without wedges. Nitpicking: no facilities (bins etc), and very muddy when wet.

Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit ici. Pas mal de monde (7 véhicules) et beaucoup de vent mais parfait pour une nuit.

Wir verbrachten hier eine ruhige Nacht. Man kann direkt los wandern zu der Ruine. ca. 1h Tagsüber hört man die Schafe. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick! Leider liegen schon einige Scheißhaufen mit Klopapier drum herum... sehr schade.

Great location with enough room for 6 camper vans the size of a VW Bulli. Nice view, minimal shelter from the wind, almost no car on the road. The stay overnight is free. Arrived shortly after 8 in the evening and got the second to last spot. If the place is full, there's another spot a little down the road on a farmer's grass land overlooking the sea. £15 a night, farmer comes in the morning.

We did't enjoy the views due to famous Scottish fog, but at least there were no winds. The quiet was stunning. Arrived late (20:30) and there were a couple cars already, but we still managed to get in. Obviously this place is becoming popular, don't hope for solitude in high season.

Magnifique vue sur la mer, spot au calme (route très peu passante), plat et protégé du vent mais terrain sableux quand nous y étions le sol était mouillé, et le sable collé à nos chaussures. Ballades possibles à travers les champs jusqu'à la mer. Super spot.

Wunderbarer Platz für 5 Wohnmobile, mitten im Grünen mit Blick auf's Meer (auch auf Windparks und Atomkraftwerk). Viel Wind, super ruhig in der Nacht. Der Weg zum Platz ist eine Single-Road.

Great place, good protection from winds and most traffic. There is a hiking trail through the pastures. View of the sea makes it extra gorgeous. Air smells like the surrounding gorse (coconut). Space for about 3 mobile homes or 4 vans. Good road. No services, no height restriction.

Nice location but can get quite busy and very muddy /boggy depending on weather , but with it being Scotland usually wet :D there isn’t much to do around the area but does have a nice view if weather permits

Un peu venteux, calme et une très belle vue sur la mer du Nord, avec possibilité de rando sur le chemin côtier en contrebas. Nous y avons passé deux nuits sur le promontoire en herbe juste à gauche en entrant dans le parking, la route n'est pas passante. La deuxième nuit, nous étions 2 campings cars, 2 vans et une voiture. Bon trip à tous !!

La vue est fantastique! nous étions 2 camping cars et 3 vans. c'est bien sûr extrêmement calme , et l'endroit est plat.

Ein super schöner Platz!! Bei guten Wetter kann man dort ganz in Ruhe den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer genießen. Bei unserer Übernachtung waren 3 andere Camper da. Dies passte gut. Absolute Empfehlung!!

Peaceful spot with coastal views and space for a few vans. There were 5 vans including us on the night we stayed. Although dry in June, the ground had deep ruts in places where the ground had been churned up when wet. So it must be very muddy in winter.

we stayed here in our 7mtr van..the parking is on a level gravel car park overlooking a spectacular view... the odd car passes but other than that it's very peaceful

Nice, quite site. Wind protected in contrast to the other spots along the road. Spent the night with one other van. Heavy rain at night but the ground didn’t get muddy. Great little trail along the cliffs. Picked up some litter.

Wirklich super Aussicht und Wanderungen in der Gegend gut möglich (zum Beispiel zum Fast Castle). Hier kostet es auch noch nichts, erst ab den Parkbuchten später, da diese zum Farmer gehören. Dementsprechend auch voll (3 Camper) was schon geht aber die Aussicht dann eingeschränkt ist, weshalb wir uns entschieden haben noch ein Stück weiterzufahren. Aber trotzdem Atemberaubend!

Prima plek langs een rustige weg. Ook wandelingen mogelijk vanaf de plek (coastal trail), Vanaf de plek rechtdoor naar het hek en daar de pijlen volgen. Er kwamen wel tot laat auto's, die de volgende ochtend weer vroeg vertrokken (surfers die overnachtten in hun auto).

Stayed for 2 nights, reasonably flat, enough room for 4 or 5 vehicles, very quiet at night and a brilliant walk to Fast Castle which is worth the effort, the views are stunning. No rubbish when we stayed except for a pile of old tyres thrown in the grass. Brilliant free park up.

Wundervoller, geschützter Platz für mindestens 4 Vans. In der Nacht war es absolut ruhig. Es lohnt sich früh aufzustehen und die absolut tolle Gegend und den wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer in der Morgenstimmung mit der Kamera einzufangen. Bitte nehmt euren Müll mit. Das macht den Platz nämlich hässlich.

Spent 1 night, great walk between the sheep to Fast Castle. Reasonably flat but still used platforms to get it perfect. Full signal, fairly sheltered although it gets windy up high. Quiet and the locals didn't seem bothered by us one bit.

a few cars past but nothing after 9pm. Got a brilliant veiw of the northen lights and over the water in the morning.

Mooi plekje. Ook geschikt voor grote campers. Verder zijn er nog plaatsjes maar dan eerder voor Vans en kleinere campers. Mooi uitzicht. Vanaf hier is het een mooie wandeling naar de resten van Fast Castle. Als je langs het paadje gaat doe je er een klein uurtje over, het paadje vind je als je 100 m nr rechts gaat en dan aan de kant van de zee zie je het hek. Als je langs de weg gaat een halfuur.

4 vans parked overnight here when we stopped but we saw at least another 4-5 arrive and leave so quite a popular spot. There’s also a farm down the road who charges £15 (suggested donation) to stop on his land which he had mowed into nice, more scenic “pitches”. The whole road has beautiful views of the sea. Would recommend.

fantastic stop over. Quiet and lots of space but be warned it gets busy with other van lifers. Down the road is the castle fast ruins, a bit of a walk but we'll worth it

Wunderschöner Platz! Ruhig und traumhafter Ausblick! Leider haben uns die menschlichen Hinterlassenschaften enttäuscht. Es muss nicht sein, dass man wild campt, wenn man keine Toilette an Board hat. Wir sind gespannt, ob dieser tolle Platz in einigen Monaten noch zur Verfügung steht. Nehmt bitte euern Müll mit!

Beautiful spot just south of Edinburgh, gorgeous views over the North Sea and plenty of space for a few people if parked up well! Us and a motor home when we stayed. Very windy so a bit hairy in our roof tent but still good. More spots further down but £15 charge.

We stayed for 3 nights, moving around and going back in the evening, wonderful place. Peaceful. Every night we were 3 cars which is the maximum for the comfort for everyone I would say. But no problem at all. Amazing sunset! Very windy thus no midges.

ein wirklich schönes Fleckchen. es gibt schöne Spazierwege in der Nähe, was scheinbar auch gerne die einheimischen nutzen. der Platz wurde aber wenig von anderen einheimischen genutzt. wir standen mit zwei anderen Campern dort und hatten trotzdem genug Platz. Anfahrt gut, aber einspurig.

Prachtige plek! Er passen met gemak veel auto’s maar mensen zijn soms te beroerd om te verplaatsen. Heb respect voor anderen en zet je auto niet zo neer dat er niemand meer bij kan. Mooi uitzicht en hele rustige weg.

Great place to spend the night. Parking spots are nicely sheltered from the wind. Place seemed to be cleaned up, since we did not encounter any litter.

A great sheltered stopover on a really quiet single track road. Nice and flat with room for 5 vehicles. Felt really safe. Great views on a clear day across to Bass Rock. Would definitely return

Stayed last night 3 vans & 2 motorhomes in total. Cosy and safe. Great views across the bay to Thornton lock. Back to nature. Please be respectful of these little gems . Leave no trace! We don't want to loose them.☺️

Great stopover, needed to fix our diesel heater and had a really quiet night. shame about the litter though. picked 3o plus empty wine bottles and 3 bags of rubbish, shameful to ruin such a place.

Lovely park up and easy to find in the dark. Woke up to a spectacular view across the sea. Quiet but quite windy, some shelter provided by the banking. Very flat.

Stayed here and it was beautifully quiet! About 4 cars went by all night. Some teenagers did stop in but left after 30 minutes and leaving rubbish! Beautiful views to wake up to, highly recommend!!!

We stopped here for one night. It was the hottest day on record for September in Scotland in over 100 years. We sat outside and watched the sunset and had the most beautiful starry sky night . We were joined by one other van. Very quiet night . Would recommend for a stopover . Also if it’s clear you have a view of the ocean .

Brilliant spot. We shared the space with one other camper, and there’s really a huge amount of room. Extremely quiet - not a single vehicle the entire night. We slept great and felt safe. Would recommend and would return.

Beautiful. Lovely and quiet and no litter. The police turned up at one point to ask if we had seen someone they were looking for- weren't bothered that we were there at all.

We were the only people here last night . A great spot! Still some litter around as others have said. The farm down the road has amazing views, but note they do not allow barbeques or fires.

Good quiet place with really nice views. Shame about the littering that people have made. Tried to pick up as much as I could. Met a lovely guy called Ian who regularly visits there.

Bon spot, sol plat et carrossable ! Accès humide par temps de pluie.

Magnifique lieu. Une étoile en moins uniquement car c’est très humide, la flaque d’eau y est très souvent je pense le camping car est donc rempli de boue mais la vue en vaut la peine. Pour s’y rendre, c’est une sigle track sans passing place. Cela se fait mais il faut s’attendre à faire une partie en marche arrière si on croise du monde (ce qui a été notre cas).

Sehr schöner Platz mit Blick aufs Meer. Jedoch wohl sehr bekannt, heute ist der Platz mit zwei Wohnmobilen und einem Bulli fast voll.

Très bel endroit, avec une vue et un coucher de soleil magnifique. Un peu de passage sur la route en journée, mais rien de gênant. Le sentier côtier est facilement joignable un peu plus loin, et permet de longues balades.

Ich habe diesen Platz sofort gefunden . Einfach toll mit der Aussicht, später am Abend kam noch ein Womo, aber der Platz bietet 3-4 Wagen guten Platz. Ruhig und wunderschönen!

Very foggy and muddy during my visit, so no idea about the views lol. Absolute silence, good TV and internet signals, sheltered from wind and the ground is flat. Near perfect! Some litter (cannot understand why people do this), but two minutes' satisfying work with bag and gloves and the problem is solved.

Superb views and really quiet - can’t fault it. Oh, and no rubbish lying around either.

Ruhiger windgeschützter Platz. Dennoch einen Kilometer weiter findet sich ein Platz mit deutlich schöneren Blick. lohnt sich auf jeden Fall die paar Meter weiter die Straße hinter zu fahren!

Parfait pour une nuit au calme avant ou après la visite de Saint Abbs à 10 km : sentiers côtiers avec falaises ou nichent mouettes et guillemots, et où les parkings sont no overnight.

Super endroit mais que de saleté, il ne faudra pas s’étonner et en vouloir au propriétaire s’il ferme l’endroit. Un peu de respect s’il vous plaît si nous voulons continuer à dormir ailleurs que dans des parcs à camping-cars

Sadly over crowded and messy. Local landowner is thinking of blocking the area due to misuse by inconsiderate campers.

Nice place to stay, overlooking the sea, peaceful, was quiet breezy when we stayed. if you stay please take your litter home as there was some left from previous campers which will cause problems in the future if it continues

Difficile de croire qu'un si joli coin se cache le long de cette route ! C'est au pied de l'antenne! Nous avons pu passer la nuit tranquilles après l'impossibilité de rester à North Berwick!
