Beaucoup de voitures qui attendent les phares allumés en pleine nuit. Parking assez bruyant. J’ai préféré aller autre part
Petit parking à côté du port de Belfast. Il y a un panneau sur la route pour dire que Road Closes est un panneau ancien. Parking à niveau. À environ 800 mètres de Sainsbury's. Belle vue sur Belfast Lough bon arrêt pour visiter Belfast à l'attente sur le ferry.
Small carpark beside Belfast port. There is a sign on the road in saying Road Closes this is an old sign. Level car park. About half a mile from Sainsbury’s. Nice view of Belfast Lough good stop to visit Belfast at waiting on the ferry.
Kleiner Parkplatz neben dem Hafen von Belfast. Auf der Straße steht ein Schild mit der Aufschrift "Straße schließt". Dies ist ein altes Schild. Ebener Parkplatz. Etwa eine halbe Meile von Sainsbury's entfernt. Schöne Aussicht auf Belfast Lough guter Halt, um Belfast zu besuchen und auf der Fähre zu warten.

AeroFrede12/08/2025Nuit assez particulière. Il est vrai qu'il n'y a pas d'avions entre 23h et 6h30. L'endroit devient assez calme et prometteuse. C'est malheureusement sans compter les odeurs nauséabondes qui ont émanées par vagues à partir de 2h du matin de la station d'épuration qui jouxte le parking.
Bluey4728/07/2025Stayed here after getting off the ferry was only 13mins drive from the port so very handy. Only heard one boy racer beep his horn after that was quiet until about 6:30 when the planes start flying over. Strong seaweed smell. Had a fab view of the ferry we had just got off from here so that was nice to see. All in all a decent stop close to the port and felt safe as 4 other vans there.
die4Smaenner18/07/2025Wir haben hier zwei Nächte verbracht und auch den Camper tagsüber stehengelassen. Die Nächte waren sehr ruhig. Nachts kein Fluglärm. Polizei fährt manchmal Streife. Viele Einheimische nutzen den Platz, um den Sonnenuntergang zu sehen und die Vögel zu beobachten, mit ihren Hunden Gassi zu gehen oder um ihr mitgebrachtes Essen zu essen. Wenn man nichts weiter braucht, ist der Platz empfehlenswert.
Badjo16/07/2025Nous avons dormis deux nuits ici stationnement recommandé dans le fond pour éviter les multiples départ et arrivé jusqu'à 22h. Très calme en soirée. Nous avons croisé une patrouille de police en arrivant.

Schöne Aussicht, super nach Ankunft mit der Fähre. Direkt in der Einflugschneise, dadurch ein Highlight für unsere Kinder. Nachts keine Flüge

Stopped here overnight before morning ferry from Belfast. Not accessible from Holywood as there’s an MOD checkpoint but fine from Belfast side. The barriers were open when we got there at 9pm & still open in the morning at 6am. A few random cars came & went during the night but we had no bother - they’re probs used to vans parking there as there was another van & a motorhome when we were there.
captbdel1224/02/2024Parked here a few times the car park has been recovered so easier to park. Plenty of space. It's Belfast Harbour land covered by CCTV so it's safe. B&Q, Lidl, IKEA, Sainsbury's, Petrol station 5mins walk or 1min drive. Lovely views over Belfast city as the is spot is under the flight path into Belfast City Airport. Flights stop 10pm. It's always quiet and rubbish bins emptied daily.

Ich habe hier geschlafen und hatte eine ruhige Nacht, der Flughafen stoppt um 22:00/23:00 bis um 6:00/7:00 Uhr morgens. Das einzig schlechte war, das es etwas gestunken hatte nach verbrannten Insekten.

there are some barriers but seems to doesn't work so you can easily pass them. good place to stay overnight.
RAStubbs11/08/2021Tried to go here today but it isn't accessible from Holywood as there's an MoD checkpoint on the road with a barrier stating no entry without reason. May be accessible from other side but definitely no access to Holywood. Pity, as all the car parks in Holywood are pay and display with no sleeping on the signs.
