Convenient location for a night, felt safe but wouldn’t stay longer than that. It’s on a busy roundabout so traffic all night/day long. The payment system is very inconvenient, we had to look for somewhere to exchange coins. We fit comfortably in a 6.5m long MH, I think slightly longer vehicles would also fit fine.
Beware this is cash only and only accepts £1 coins! Wish I'd have known this beforehand as it was a inconvenience having to walk to find an ATM and sort this at a shop so I had 8 £1 coins for the machine. Also quite noisy right next to a roundabout if you don't have earplugs or you're a light sleeper. Worked ok for one overnight stop and would use again if I had to.
stayed the night on a Saturday and felt safe,short walk to castle and town, near a busy roundabout but at night not much traffic, would use again the carparks not the best as it gravel but on the plus side stops the boy racers, there are more spaces on cliff road 100yds down the road.
Plenty of spaces for motorhomes/campers. It’s next to a very busy roundabout so traffic noise through the night but nothing excessive. Perfect for the Motorpoint arena and access to city centre. Surface is ok, gravel and dirt and fairly flat. Would definitely use again
Paid £8 for 24 hours which was good value, only a short walk to town. We were the only inhabitants overnight (midweek) but felt safe enough. Downside was traffic noise, very dusty surface and the vehicle entrance to the adjacent building had really noisy roller doors that were opening regularly from about 6am. Would use again for an overnight as it’s really convenient but wouldn’t stay longer.
Spend the day here. Feels very safe, plenty of traffic. No restriction for overnight stay. Only £8 overnight
perfect place to stay after a gig at rock city. Quiet area and not expensive to stay. There were some building works in the morning but at a reasonable time. Coin pay machine only.
en arrivant à 17h nous avons trouvé plusieurs places. ATTENTION UNIQUEMENT DES PIECES POUR PAYER LE PARKING. 8 livres pour 24h. au bord d'une route assez passante donc assez bruyant. Très pratique car c'est à 10 minutes à pied du centre.
Ideal location, pretty quiet location. Lots of trees making it noisy when raining and was busy in the day, would definitely recommend staying here if going into the city centre.
Great central location. £8 for 24 hours but parking meter was a bit temperamental. Car park was quite rutted and lots of deep puddles on the rainy day we stayed. Generally quiet overnight. Would definitely use again.
stayed on a Friday night. arriving Friday afternoon about 4ish the car park was empty, but totally full by 9am the next morning coins only in machine and nowhere nearby that's particularly handy to get change so bring coins
The parking is ten minutes walking to the city center. It is a good option for visiting town. You pay £ 1 per hour. So... You can visit the city center using 3 or 4 hours. The foor is not pavimented, so there's no racers. This is good. I do not know about overnight. There's better options elsewhere. Why? That thing is on the middle of the town, would not feel safe to sleep here. Check photos.
Parking proche du centre ville, on peut y passer la nuit, cela semble en sécurité, il faut impérativement payer en monnaie. Nou y avons passé la nuit sans problème mais seul, le parking est utilisé par les travailleurs de jour et trés désert la nuit.
As we arrived the parking space was relatively full and busy on a Monday afternoon. We managed to get a space with our 6.4m campervan but it can be tight. Didn't sleep there as we didn't get a good spot.
£8 to stay overnight (2023). A bit noisy at night as on very busy roundabout. That said , it seemed safe enough so can recommend.
Stayed here last night, it was a Sunday night so quiet. Absolutely brilliant for access to the city centre. literally 5 minutes walk and you're at the arena. Felt relatively safe and only £8 for 24 hours parking. If you're out in the city centre, definitely recommend. Will save an expensive Uber or Taxi home. It's completely off grid. Remember to bring cash as no card payment option.
Great location, reasonably quiet in the eve but very noisy and busy in the morning, but location perfect especially for the sports grounds
£8.00 for 24hours. Had a great nights sleep. Not many people use the car park in late afternoon/evening. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

we went a couple of hundred yards up from the main car park on the roundabout. it's on the same cliff road . same price .much quieter. photo added . 100 yards from the cave entrance two minutes walk to the house of justice. both worth visiting
Stayed here Saturday night. If you drive to the end of Cliff Road there is a smaller and much quieter car park. Same rates but so much quieter.
Stopped here on a Friday night pulled up at about 7:30PM about 5 cars on the car park loads of room for my Motorhome, found a reasonably flat spot to set up in the only pointer would be to have some ear plugs as it is next to a busy roundabout. paid £8 for 24 hours no issues.
