Nice quite campsite on the edge of Ipswich , basic but friendly staff, Very convenient for Mountain Bikers going to Twisted Oaks Bike Park and Trails, Only a 5 minute drive or 2 mile ride from campsite. Great for Small day vans/Campervans. Electric hookups available. More than 20 pitches. Need to pay for showers, tokens available from campsite Reception.

Spent 2 nights here, micro-camping. Friendly manager, very helpful, and considerate of lone female. Lovely and clean facilities, sheltered site, some road noise at times early evening, no sleep disturbances. Ideal for access to Landguard for birding, and I was able to slip between the posts at ungodly-o’clock when I left for early bird-finding. £14 no EHU, £18 with EHU, tokens for showers.
Terrific spot with a very gracious host. We called to see if spots were still available and were able to come directly over, even after 5pm. Quiet and very well equipped. Recommend to everyone.
Ein schöner Campingplatz mit sehr netten Betreibern. Wir sind kurz nach 21:00 Uhr ohne Reservierung angekommen und haben noch einen Platz bekommen. Die Toiletten und Duschen sowie das Gelände waren sehr sauber. Es gibt Strom, frisches Wasser und die Chemietoilette kann geleert werden. Für 14 Pfund (ohne Strom) pro Nacht ein wirklich guter Preis. Duschen kostet 1 Pfund für 10 Minuten Wasser.
Great site only book one night but stayed 2 nights facility spotless would highly recommend and would definitely stay again
Der Platz ist nicht teuer und der Inhaber sehr freundlich. Wir telefonierten am Nachmittag und bekamen ohne Probleme einen Platz für den gleichen Abend. 2 Erwachsene, 1 VW Bus, Strom, 18 Pfund. Dusche kostet 1 Pfund extra. Es gibt alles was man braucht, prima.
Excellent budget campsite. £14/night, plus £4 for EHU. Fresh water, toilets/showers, Elsan point, washing machine and a bonus is an off-lead dog area. Very friendly staff/warden John. Will definitely visit again.
Basic site. Slight traffic noise from A14 but not a problem. Toilet & showers basic but do the job. £18 a night with hook up, £14 without hook up. Will be returning sometime soon.
A very friendly welcome. Stayed for 3 nights originally only 2 (but asked for another night) £18 a night with EHU. Pay for showers £1 for ten minutes but very warm and powerful. would definitely stay again! We just turned up so was lucky to get a spot.
Nice quiet clean site friendly people close to Felixstowe have been here about 3 times now for short stay overs
Nice little campsite, only £14 a night with electric hook up. Basic toilets and showers but for the price I don’t think you can expect more. The warden is lovely and helped me when I needed roadside assistance when my camper wouldn’t start. Will be staying here again.
Weird crowd here. absolutely refused to let us empty a cassette or water even offering some money. creepy feel to place so deffo avoid
Had a nice stay, quiet and friendly staff, John the Proprietor is very helpful and really nice. Will use this campsite again. Basic but Convenient and served its purpose for us.
