We briefly stopped here as the Funivia car parks were closed. Supposedly free but a local collects €10 fee and offers to watch van but then disappears and rough youths turned up. Funivia was closed so we left and drove up to Erice which was free for parking.
Funivia chiusa fino al 20 Aprile. Parcheggio poco invitante, spazzatura ammassata in un angolo. Confermiamo la presenza del gorilla che chiede soldi per parcheggiare

Siamo arrivati ieri pomeriggio in questo parcheggio gratuito e abbiamo passato la notte qui. Consigliato per visitare Erice, perché è a 2 passi dalla funivia (se arrivate nel pomeriggio vi consiglio di prendere già i biglietti x la funivia, perché altrimenti verso sera si fa oltre mezz’ora di coda). Siamo arrivati nel pomeriggio e abbiamo parcheggiato senza problemi, ma intorno alle 18/19 arriva un parcheggiatore abusivo che chiede di pagare, fischiando alle persone x richiamare l’attenzione. Noi eravamo già li e non ci ha chiesto nulla, quindi vi consiglio di arrivare nel pomeriggio oppure a tarda sera. Notte tranquilla anche se il parcheggio non è in piano.
Comodo parcheggio per la funivia per Erice. Gratuito e con telecamere. Un pò in pendenza. Non siamo rimasti x la notte.
Nice little free parking lot close to the cable car going to Erice. the lot is not level. cable car is currently still closed due to the covid emergency.
Très pratique pour prendre le téléphérique pour visiter erice. en sortant du parking prendre à droite à pied, il est à 2 min. pas beaucoup de places mais bien pratique. un peu en pente donc nous n'y avons pas passé la nuit.
