Riesig, extrem viel Platz. Große Wiese mit leichter Neigung. Leider keine Grube für Grauwasserentsorgung. Wir hatten einen Platz ohne Strom gebucht, da war etwas undurchsichtig, wo man stehen sollte. War aber egal weil nichts los war. Sanitärräume sauber aber ein ganz schönes Stück zu laufen.
PomPomsWorldTour11/06/2025Large community of permanent residents. We arrived on a Sunday, the day was full of weekend campers & it felt safe. However once it cleared out the vibe changed. We were approached by a resident who seemed to be scoping out what we had in our van. He returned & sat in his car just watching us. Felt unsafe & didn't stay. Several fighting dogs around & one was being trained as we went to shower.
sayHI_2_TAS06/06/2025I love this campsite, it's large, friendly and clean. £15 with good facilities and a shop/cafe. logs available for fires. Playing area for the kids and also the river or go for a long walk in the country.
Perdi2xelmundo04/05/2025Una enorme pradera sin parcelas delimitadas, te puedes poner donde quieras. Muy caro, pero me temo que como todos los campings en Inglaterra: 30£ por noche, autocaravana y 2 adultos. Muy mala señal de Internet, y peor wifi. Por lo que cobran, podían al menos tener un wifi de calidad.
Francisco.Mar12/10/2024First time car camping with my partner, everything went smoothly. toilets, showers and plenty of free space. we had a fireplace dinner BBQ and it was great, would reccomend. £28 for 2 in a car was a little steep however.

Grand camping. Les toilettes sont propres. Les douches aussi, mais en sous nombre par rapport au possibilité d'accueil. Il est possible de faire des feux de bois sur la pelouse. Un plus pour certains, mais cela peut devenir une nuisance en fonction du vent... Sinon, passé 22 heures, le camping est très calme. Après l'accueil est bon et le plus touristique , château de Bodiam est très proche.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Wir haben mit einem Pössl Camper und 2 Personen 20 £ bezahlt. Duschen und WC alt aber sauber.
SunlightDD02/06/2023Enorm grote grasvlakte, sanitair is ok. Met onze Belgische gsm was er geen netwerk bereik. Er is wel internet signaal van de camping. Bij het online reserveren kan je zelf je pitcher kiezen, gezien de grote afstanden best niet al te ver van het sanitair gebouw kiezen.

Plenty of big places (grass pitches). Amount of toilets are limited, but in good condition. Price is slidely higher 10£/adult and child 5£ than indicated in the heading.
BD68911/08/2022Alles vorhanden was man braucht! Großer Kinderspielplatz, sanitäre Anlagen waren in Ordnung! Wir kamen gegen 20.45h und man hat uns mit größter Freundlichkeit empfangen!!! Riesiges Gelände!

Ein großer und sehr voller Campingplatz. Dementsprechend natürlich laut. Die sanitären Einrichtungen sind in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber. Es kommt wohl darauf an was man sucht. Uns hat es nicht gefallen.
Antonia3817/09/2021It's such a large place and can get a tad noisy with children and people partying, though this all stops by 11pm. Fantastic price costing me only £10 in my car. I chose to use the top field where you can park anywhere around the edge of the field. plus lots of space between vehicles. The only issue is being far away from the toilet block. Lots of people with fire pits too. A very peaceful night.
