Einfacher Schotterparkplatz auf dem eigentlich alles verboten ist, außer zu parken. Danke für NICHTS. Man sollte sich ein Beispiel an Estland nehmen, wo das Forstamt kostenlose RMK Plätze mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten anbietet. Selbstverständlich haben wir hier nicht übernachtet und sind nur vorbei gewandert. P.S.Wäre gut wenn Fotos vom Parkplatz und nicht von der Umgebung eingestellt würden.
Beautiful little place I’m looking forward to going back in the summer so I can take a dip in the waterfall pools. The car park is completely flat and you are completely surrounded by nature.
Quiet spot, plenty of space and no litter at all. No view of the loch but it’s just round the corner. Lovely walks nearby with great views.
Parked up, never saw a soul from getting there to leaving next day, a few pot holes n the track up but fine if you take it steady, well with thee £7 great walks from the car park , very clean no litter when we were there
Very rough track, rubbish left there smelt like a public toilet. Maximum 3vans there were 6. People are thick it won’t be a stay the night in 2024 if treated like a latrine.
Stayed here overnight. The stars were incredible and we had the whole parking lot to ourselves. Parking costs £7 via the Forestry and Land Scotland's Stay the Night scheme. It's a beautiful place but beware there's no phone signal and the road up to it is single track and quite narrow in places.
Mooie ruime en niet drukke plaats. Midden in de bossen en nabij een meertje. Vanaf de weg paar minuutjes naar deze overnachtingsplek. Plek voor 4 campers. Doodlopend, dus geen doorgaand verkeer. Harde ondergrond. Prachtige sterrenhemel! Onderdeel van de wandelroute ‘Murrays’ Birthplace Monument’.
A lovely place. Great views. Very quiet. Doing forestry works however only saw the log waggon twice. A large carpark with no facilities/bins however the road is quite bumpy. Lovely quiet spot and a bonus of no phone signal. Lovely walk from the car park to the Loch. No signs saying no overnight and no one bothered me parking up there.
I didnt stop overnight but did park up for lunch and a lovely walk with my dog. Bit bumpy forest commission track..just take it slow. not sure if overnight is possible. would be super quiet if it was.
