I was a bit confused over the residential parking permits only sign at entrance, but the official website did confirm 4 free parking areas. It's a lovely lake, that you can walk round (if your active enough). It is also quite windy, and full of huffing & puffing interest from residents. But I wouldn't let that put you off. The bays are sized for small campers - that might.
Fabulous location, very quiet, fab lakes and walks
Beautiful views and peaceful location. We managed to get a parking spot right next to the water and had a relaxing time for a couple of hours. Highly recommended for a relaxing stop.
Had to leave at 2am after the banging on the windows from the drug dealers. Never again.
Most of the area has residents parking only Monday to Friday til 6pm. The spot next to the Santander bikes is unrestricted though. Stayed a night. Very pleasant
