It’s a nice field, quiet. We’re the only ones here. But the reception is shocking. We called to book so someone was waiting in the other room. But went back twice to ask where the chemical disposal was, and no one there. Knocked on the staff only door multiple times and shouted out. Nothing. So we were just left to our own devices. And there was no hot water in the shower :/ wouldn’t stay again.

Expensive for what it is. Staff is not very diligent. Toilets and showers were not the cleanest. I wouldn't recommend.

Actually not too bad! £25 a night with a tent box and living pod! 3 adults and dogs doesn’t charge per person! Has a shower which are fairly decent for the price just don’t leave your clothes on the floor as they will get soaked and you have to push a button to keep the water on! There is also washing up area and toliets! Took a little while for someone to come as no one in office!

Very poor experience. No one present to welcome you in on arrival. The place looks uncared for & very expensive. Facilities are dirty. The field you park in has a nice view. Would not stay here again

Booked in October for 1 night (£32) the field was waterlogged and I was concerned that we would get stuck. Netting is used around the field to screen old sheds, rubble etc. Promised a refund and have not received it.

Nice children's play area. Lovely views. Only 4 cubicals with loo sink and shower hence 4 stars not 5. Good local beers in pub. Extra parking in pub carpark if field full but no elec. Would come again.

Just a little update - £30 for powered hard standing lot :) great local lager !

Nice setting - toilet block is a little tired (see photo’s) but staff and pub seems nice. (Not tried the food?) Close to the main road (Horseshoe Pass) so quite busy during the day.
