Great spot to spend a few hours. Public toilets, cold shower, and tap for water near the toilets. There is one barrel sauna in the carpark and a second in walking distance. Don't miss the views from the cliff walk! Its quite busy with people going for walks and horse trailers, but no one had any issues with us parked there all day. Says no overnights which is enforced in summer months.
Nice and quiet place to stay. Free and clean public toilets.
We parked here for the day. There are definitely NO signs forbidding overnight parking. Maybe they had second thoughts
New signs up now stating no overnight parking. Considering that most of the camper van owners spend a lot of money in the adjacent restaurant it's a shame that they will loose out on the extra business. Stayed there 31st December and no other campers around. Had a few young lads banging the sides of campers at 2.30am one morning during the summer. Frightened an old couple parked beside us.

Seul mi septembre. Légère pente mais pas gênant. Calme la nuit mais les locaux viennent le matin tôt. Un chemin de rando part juste à côté pour rejoindre une belle plage.
Great spot for an over night park. Pier and beach for a swim. Portaloo on the car park, decent space. Picnic benches, bottle bank. Just below the lovely Strand gastropub.
stayed one night, arrived just b4 take away closed @ 7pm we got lovely fish & chips while awaiting a spot to park into, very busy with families, car park full, but as nightime fell we got a spot, about 8 vans, quiet night, woken to the sound of people using bottle bank.
Wer einen geselligen Abend will gerne. Dort gibt es auch Plumsklos, bis 22 Uhr sind Kinder zum Krebsefischen da. Ab 23 Uhr betrunkene Jungs die laut schreien das sie die Räder aufschlitzen werden. Da man überall schief steht hab ich dann den Platz gewechselt.
Super Stellplatz am Pier, wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht, standen mit 2 weiteren Wohnmobilen hier. In den Genuss des guten Restaurants sind wir leider nicht gekommen, da es nur von Donnerstag bis Sonntag geöffnet ist.
Lovely stopover stayed 2 night. Nice food in the strand pub above lovely pizza in Uk.
Cracking location and parking by the harbour is free with no restrictions, The Strand restaurant serves beautiful food and staff are lovely, 15 minutes walk to a massive beach. Had to mark it down a star a the local lads turned up at 5am playing music on the harbour wall so we moved on to the next free stop 2 minutes away.

Fantastic spot with a beautiful view. Great walk along the coast to the massive beach. The Strand Bar beside does great food & is very dog friendly... the staff are also brilliant - well worth checking it out, though in the off season it's only open from Thursday to Sunday.
Superb spot, joined by a few other motor homes, reasonably flat, sea and beach right by parking spot. Nice restaurant and takeaway pizza available but we didn’t use. Phone signal good, bins, tap water available.
Parking très bien situé, devant la mer, avec un restaurant et glacier. Au top.
grand parking, beaucoup de va et vient en ce solstice d'été ! restau privatisé ce soir, dommage.... WC et point d'eau à l'embarcadère. nuit calme. parfait !
Ireland at its best ! harbour with great swimming, picnic tables, portaloo, bar which is open at the moment (Thurs - Sunday) slightly sloping but view makes up for it.
Great view and able to back up my car to wake up looking out at the ocean. Clean portaloos and bins and very quiet for sleeping overnight as just off the road.
Portaloos at pier. Fantastic walkway along cliff top. Lots of locals coming and going with dogs and visits to strand restaurant - but absolutely no bother. Restaurant also has coffee and scones to go.
Stayed here last night , the strand bar was open,lovely walk, followed a walk this morning on the wexford trails. Port a loos available by the pier
