Great pub The Horns Inn, for dinner and drinks. We asked if we could park up for the night and the manager confirmed. Nice car park at rear close to Cannock Chase MTB trails. No amenities.

Had a peaceful stay here last night. Rang ahead and booked a spot as being a Saturday evening, which was a good move as the landlady warned me they had a large party in later so go there 6pm to get parked bottom right. Car parked soon filled up. Food portions are large and really nicely presented. Make sure you give your registration number as they have a security patrol come round in the night.
arrived early sunday evening when the pub was just closing early. We had already rang ahead to ask if it was ok to stay the night, and the landlady was happy for us to do this even though they were closing. We had a very quiet night and the next morning, we took a walk around the nature reserve, which is situated right behind the pub before continuing our journey. Thank you for your kindness.
I arrive late on a Sunday afternoon, although there was no food because they was closing early, I was made very welcome and only asked for my registration (local person will ask people to move on, if not registered with landlady) and to buy a drink. Very quiet, dog friendly, friendly and helpful staff and loads of local nature to explore. highly recommended
What a truly wonderful stop. Lovely pitch in the corner of the carpark. Amazing pizza and prosecco deal. Incredible value and great quality. Was a beautiful evening so we sat outside but the pub was stunning inside and almost every table was booked on a Wednesday night. Above all everyone we met were so kind especially Dawn who was a real gem. Dawn was so warm, friendly and welcoming. THANK YOU.
Stayed here for 2 nights free of charge as long as you have a meal in the pub. Very friendly and helpful great food and quiet at night. Lovely walk to a water fall from car park. Recommend to ring in advance best to park in bottom right corner.
As mentioned nice spot for overnight safe and peaceful. Have a couple of drinks or food and your welcome to stay. Friendly staff at the pub and barbecue food for sale at wagon in car park perfect!

Called to book a table and confirm parking - manager very friendly and welcoming to us (2 adults, 3 children and dog). Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Parking at end of car park flat and with lovely view of the fishing lake through trees. Very quiet overnight.
The last couple of reviewers said it all. Just spent a couple of nights here and really quiet in the far corner of the car park. Very friendly in the pub and amazing food. Highly recommended
Ring to book yourself in to great dog friendly pub with lovely food and service - free to park if using pub. Easy access to Cannock Chase. Quiet car park after 10.30 - so peaceful. Will stay again.
very friendly welcome, directed to a quiet corner that was flat and easy to park in. perfect spot for walking or cycling into Cannock Chase. stayed a second night to make the most of the good food and drink
Rang in advance, very helpful. Nice quiet location. Parked our bus next to pub, easy to park. Great dog friendly pub. Food and service were outstanding, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended. House merlot is fab too.
If it was possible to leave no stars at all, I would do so. This place is diabolical for eating unless you have hours to waste whilst waiting to be served. Best to have a pint then eat in your motorhome.
The Horns is the last place to eat if you have time to wait for the abysmal service. Have a pint then cook your own food in your motorhome.
