Bel endroit à l'entrée de la forêt de Guînes avec tables de pique-nique. La zone est utilisée par les randonneurs qui se garent le jour mais très calme la nuit. On entend la ligne de train au loin mais cela ne nous a pas dérangés du tout. On a passé une nuit ici sans être dérangé. Accès adapté aux fourgonnettes mais pas aux camping-cars.
Beautiful spot at the entrance to Forêt de Guînes with picnic tables. The area is used for walkers parking cars in the day but it’s very quiet at night. You can hear the train line in the distance but it didn’t bother us at all. Spent a night here without being disturbed. Access suitable for vans but not motorhomes.
Schöner Platz am Eingang zum Forêt de Guînes mit Picknicktischen. Das Gebiet wird tagsüber von Wanderern genutzt, die Autos parken, aber nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Die Bahnlinie ist in der Ferne zu hören, hat uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört. Habe hier ungestört eine Nacht verbracht. Zufahrt geeignet für Lieferwagen, aber nicht für Wohnmobile.

Very calm and beautiful place, we stayed here with 2 cars and a tent. Some hikers in the morning but no passing trafic. You can hear the traintracks a little bit but it didn't bother us. The big trees offer nice shade when necessary. Highly recommend!

très beau spot, accessible sans problème avec un camping-car 7,5 m. Terrain plat. Passage du train au loin mais ce n'est pas dérangeant pour dormir. Grands arbres permettant d'avoir de l'ombre et quelques tables de pique-nique. Le matin quelques voitures sont venues pour partir en randonnée mais pas avant 8h. Le lieu est top.
Perfekter Ort für eine Nacht vor der Überfahrt nach Dover. Kein Service, ausser den 2Picknicktischen. Leider ist die Umgebung verkotet. Habe schwer Mühe mit dem verhalten gewisser Camper. Aspalt Zufahrt sehr schmal. Kreuzen nicht möglich. 5G
Très bon spot pour dormir, peu de passage, calme toute la nuit. Ombragée avec les arbres, idéals par temps chaud. Table en bois à disposition.
Super spot, au calme. De temps en temps un train passe au loin mais rien de dérangeant. Attention qu’il y a une route moins praticable que l’autre pour arriver, le mieux est de venir de Bouquehault. Places disponibles pour plusieurs camping car

We arrived here to get the ferry back to the UK, initially everything was fine until the night when a motorbike came in revving loudly. Then around midnight, two really loud (we assume grouse hunting) gunshots went off in the woods which was pretty terrifying and then again at 3am. Also a puncture on the way out from potholes. Such a shame as it seemed like an ideal place!
Arrived on the last and late ferry in Calais, then drove in the middle of the night 25 minutes to this spot. An interesting drive… Just when you think there's nothing, you arrive at this beautiful and peaceful place.
Encore un très bon spot pour road trip, calme et zen. Des trains au loin, mais rien de bien dérageant, rien la nuit. Trois tables à dispo, mais on est seul. Le matin des promeneurs mais pas avant 8h30, pas comme en hollande où ils promènent leurs chiens à 6h30, ou pire au Danemark où le soleil ne se couche pas vraiment.
Great spot. Nice and calm. Be sure to approach from the town of Boucqehault, otherwise you'll end up on a very narrow dirt road.
Great, clean spot under large trees. Sunrise was gorgeous and we loved the forest for walking our dog.

Really nice parking set in the forest. Good walks nearby so great for dogs. Not many places to get level but was fine for us. There are two ways to access this. It's best to come from the town to the east otherwise you're driving off road if coming from the north (even though google says it's a marked road)

superbe endroit ,pas de servis mais charment.je suis arriver en fin de soirée en plaine drache et jai pu voir des lapins je me suis arreter et au matin quel surprise de voir se paysage et un petit bonhomme qui fesais çà marche matinal qui me dit un bonjour!pour les vanne et plus gros ces tranquil,juste les gros gabarit attention en passent part des petits chemains étroit part moment à préserver
Endroit sympa nous avons passé une bonne nuit même si un petit bruit de train au loin. Attention il y a deux chemins possible pour arriver, nous avons pris le mauvais bas de caisse de notre C4 spacetourer a touché tellement le chemin est mauvais
Level pitch, very quiet, some lovely walks and nice grassy/picnic area for children to play.
Nice spot for the night. Very calm. Just the distant drone of the Eurostar trains every now and then. Some dog walkers in the evening. Not easy to get level but good enough.
A lovely quiet flat spot, perfect for a night's stay before catching the ferry. Bigger vans might struggle on the access road (although it's not that bad). Benches great for cooking on.

Graeat and quite place. I ve spent 2 nights and slept super well with a bright half moon. Both nights other people came with a camper to rest but there is more than enough space. Forest is amazing. If you walk at the sunset you ll probably see cute little deers
Lovely spot but please be careful driving here - google maps brought us down a dirt track which should not be classed as a road, I nearly rolled my T5 but couldn’t reverse back as the road was too steep with deep tyre tracks and rocks so had to continue along it. There is a different route which another van had taken so it is accessible without the experience we had. Very scary and I don’t know how I didn’t take off the underneath of my van. Once here the spot was very pretty, and we had some shelter from the wind
Haben hier vor unserer Fährenabfahrt nach Dover übernachtet. Die Nacht war sehr ruhig, bis auf dass das ein Sturm tobte und die Bäume anständig wackelten. Ein paar Camper haben direkt unter den Bäumen gestanden, wir entschieden uns ein bisschen vorne weiter zu stehen und fühlten uns dadurch sicherer. Platz ist toll gelegen, aber man muss davon ausgehen, dass man ihn sich mit mehreren teilen muss.

Stopped on our last night as handy for the Eurotunnel and didn't want to stay on site. Lovely spot with good views and spots to walk with the dog. Good 4G signal if needed. Had a very quite night here.

Accès possible pour un petit camping car. Mais bien indiquer la commune voisine sur le GPS, sinon veut faire traverser la forêt. Route cahoteuse mais emplacement tranquille
Great little spot perfect for a stopover before or after the ferry or Eurotunnel. No facilities, but a 10 minutes drive there is the town and there is an tasty boulangerie to grab breakfast!
Great for one night. I was alone in the evening. Very quiet. Narrow access road (beware if you have a sizeable camper, with a (camper)van no issues. No trash bins, take it with you :). Nice hike in the nearby forest in the morning. Good 4G coverage. Overall, 4 stars.

Great little spot with excellent natural coverage. Very little noise and ideal for a one stop. I'd say the area is quiet enough to let dogs off and although there is no toilet the wood is pretty covered so would provide a good 'natural' cubicle

Really quiet, green, and only a half hour from the ferry terminal. Access road is very small. Large motor homes would probably struggle.

Nice spot on the edge of the forest with a couple of picnic benches. Slightly sloping but not uncomfortably so. Narrow lane coming from the village of Bouquehault but it's only for 1km and is tarmac, we managed fine in our motorhome. Can hear the train in the distance but it doesn't disturb. Totally quiet at night except for wildlife noises. Only 25min from the Channel Tunnel terminal.

Endroit très tranquille à l'entrée de la forêt domaniale de Guînes. Des chemins de randonnées sont tout près. Je suis arrivée ce matin, quelques promeneurs et cyclistes. je y suis pas restée pour la nuit. Seul camping-car jusqu'à 19h30, cinq autres véhicules sont arrivés, j'ai trouvé un endroit plus calme pour la nuit.
Quiet bit of forest surrounded by fields with plenty parking space. The main road is nearby to catch but secluded enough to sleep peacefully. The rare noises I could hear were the low vibrations of the train passing in the distance and the owls singing and hunting. The lack of light pollution made for a very starry night. Note: be careful to come from the North-East of the forest, by the Bouquehault village and to take the forest road which is paved. My sat nav had different plans for me and took me across the fields where I ended up doing some muddy all terrain/4x4 drive across the pool-size puddles.

Quiet place, nice views, 35 minutes driving from Calais port. No services, no rubbish bins. One of the 2 routes to get there is narrow and bumpy- not ideal for motorhomes.
L'accès est plus facile à partir de Bouquehault. Prendre la petite rue à droite au niveau d'une maison en bois ( facilement repérable) et continuer jusqu'au parking avec tables de picnic. vu

Je comptais y passer la nuit mais à 19h30 encore énormément de passage, car comme des barrières étaient installées sur les petites routes je me suis garé sur le parking comme tout le monde. J’ai préféré partir pour être plus tranquille ! Sinon joli cadre.

Stayed 2 nights lovely walks all around and good if you like to forage. Man staying there never meet but seamed very friendly and has 2 beautiful dogs.

Fabulous spot. We stayed for a night alongside one other van - with a magnificent thunder and lightning display part way through an otherwise quiet night. A few joggers and dog walkers go by in the morning but all wished us a cheerful ‘bonjour’ and there seem to be no issues with people staying there.

Aucun panneau qui stipule si on peut rester ou pas... La gendarmerie qui fait son tour pour voir qui reste sur place ou pas. On a préféré partir car on était en tente.
Spent the night before returning to the UK. Couple of dog walkers parked up when I arrived, friendly folk, quiet night. Good spot.
We had a great calm night after crossing at Calais but we woke up in the morning to lots of people walking dogs from 6am onwards. Eventually a grouse hunt later into the morning (we should have translated the name of the place or the signs!) which spooked our cat a great deal, also buckshot/tree debris raining onto the van wasn't really how we wanted to spend our first night in France!
Went on a Sunday night, very quiet and beautiful forest :) Some cars starting passing at 9am. Passé la nuit dimanche soir, très calme et belle forêt :) Quelques voitures ont commencé à passer vers 9h.
