Very quiet and peaceful for a mid week night. We basically had the field to ourselves. Clearly signposted from the road to the campsite itself. Parked up as no one around and a member of the activity centre staff appeared about an hour later. very friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean. Full 4G signal on the campsite, didn't check WiFi. Walks straight from the campsite.
Prices are variable, we paid £17 for van+2 with no elec, so check website. Hard standing and grass pitches available. Cracking location and a must for clear night star viewing as within a Dark Skies area. Facilities are good and kept clean and tidy. Its run by swlakestrust (.org.uk)
It's an excellent setup. No one there when we arrived but access was no problem. Good shower and facilities. It's worth paying for staying here. And free WiFi as well :-)
Fijne camping, super mooie omgeving! Veel te doen vlakbij het meer, alles was netjes :)
Idyllischer Platz an einem Stausee mit vielen Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Leider kann der See nicht wie erwartet und erhofft genutzt werden. Blau-Grün-Algen machen das Baden und SUPen unmöglich. Achtung - die Algen sind für Hunde lebensgefährlich. Ein Angestellter hat uns darauf hingewiesen, dass kürzlich ein Hund nach dem Baden im See verendet ist.
Lovely site, free WiFi if close to the toilet area. Close to children’s park and walks. Great for cycling, fishing, walking, children and dogs.
Tricky to find in the dark but night little site.
