(4677) Horizons Kangaroo Sanctuary & Camp Ground

Amazing! We planned to stay for one night but extended our stay as we loved it. Kangaroos are friendly and well taken care of. Facilities are clean and well equipped. The view and the garden are beautiful. One night is 40$. We were all alone the first night but the second one was very busy so I guess it depends.

I loved this camping, a place that gave me really good vibrations. It's like a oasis of peace where kangaroos are really the owner of the land. We paid 35$ for 2 people unpowered. The kitchen is really well furnished compared to other camping I have been in Queensland, there are just 2 bathrooms but they are clean and big. Definitely recommend this place if you come to Agnes Water!

Great spot very close to Agnes main beach and shopping park. Lovely property winding up a hill with camp spaces looking out over Agnes. Camp kitchen with cooking and cleaning facilities. Eskie with drinking water provided. 2 bathrooms and toilets. Rubbish bins. Lots of kangaroos around and designated feeding times you can get involved with. Owner is straight talking however hospitable.

Haben AUD 40 für unseren Campervan incl Strom gezahlt. Nettes und superruhiges Anwesen. Die Kängurus sind natürlich der Höhepunkt. Allerdings können wir nicht positiv über den Besitzer berichten. Er ist so verbittert und negativ. Er hasst die Welt, die Regierung, alles an Australien und Menschen (“some of the Kangaroos are similar to me - they don’t like people”). Schade, hätte schön sein können.

Wir 2 standen mit unserem Apollo Camper für 1 Nacht mit Strom auf dem Platz. Er war einfach besonders, Garry kümmert sich so liebevoll um die vielen Kängurus (um 5pm und 6 am sind auch Fütterungen zum Zusehen)und die Waschräume / Campkitchen sauber. Wir haben $35 für einen Stellplatz mit Strom gezahlt.

super et magique lieu entourée de kangourous ! check in à 14h et check out 10:30. havre de paix avec un couple passionnée vous pouvez caresser et donner a mangez aux kangourous le soir. 30$ la nuit tout près d'Agnès water! je recommande. nous y sommes allez sans passer de coup de fil n'y de résa d'avance. il y avais de la place. environ 10 véhicules max.

Most beautiful place on the entire east coast ! we only wanted to make a stopover but stayed 2 nights because we found it so beautiful. Gerry and his wife seem very introverted at first, but they are incredibly kind people who have given their lives to saving kangaroos. You can also offer your help in return for a pitch, they are both 70 and are happy for a helping hand. Donate a little something.
