Beautiful place to stay....Ian was lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. We paid £23.50 without electricity and thought it was a fair price for the night. The facilities are a bit tired but saying that there is everything you need! shower was hot and we could refill water etc. Would definitely recommend a stay here!!! Thanks Ian.

Great campsite in a beautiful setting. Short walk to Reeth village. Friendly owners, Ian really helpful. Music in The Black Bull on Thursday night £27.50 for 2 people and electric. Unfortunately could only stay one night but will definitely be going back.
stayed on bank holiday weekend the campsite had good facilities and the owners were nice only down points were strict rules with dogs, and Reeth it's self is not what it was the two pubs serving poor food and so busy
Zeer nette, rustige camping op wandelafstand van Reeth.
We stayed here for 2 nights. Booking was easy, Ian and Sharon were very accommodating with our rear awning being quite large and gave us a corner pitch with lots of room. Onsite facilities were very good, you'll need plenty of 20ps for the showers. 5 minute walk into Reeth with nice pubs and cafes. Will definitely be staying here again!

Accueil très sympathique. Le propriétaire nous a donné beaucoup d informations sur le camping et les choses à faire aux alentours. Le village Reeth est charmant. Camping calme et propre avec toutes les commodités, à moins de 5 minutes à pied de la place du village. je recommande.
absolutely lovely little place, very peaceful. the owners of this site are really nice, very helpful and very informative with regards to the surroundings area. loved staying here best sleep I think I've ever had !! All amenities were immaculate too !
Great site with fab facilities. Quiet and fantastic value. Ian the owner could not be more friendly & helpful. Will definitely return - lovely walks all around & amazing cake & coffee at the Dales Bike Centre a short walk up the road.

Stayed here for 2 nights, very friendly and helpful chap who owns the site. Everything was perfect, spotless toilets,immaculate showers, toilet emptying facilities and bin areas. We will return here as its very close to the village.
To clarify the previous post, this site isn’t by the River Ure though a small stream does run alongside the wall. It’s all grass pitches set in (surprise surprise!) an old orchard. Pitches with electric are about £20 a night. It’s a nice site but the toilet block is very dated but clean, so I think the price is a little expensive. This site is just off the road as you approach the village from the South. It’s close to Reeth which is a nice village with some lovely walking nearby. I think the comment about a site next to the river may refer to the farmers field at Grinton which is a 10 minute walk away. In summer they do seem to allow camping on their field but I’ve never stayed there.
