Hiking parkingplace on a quiet road with two picnic tables. The parking lot has a slight slope. The parking lot is easily accessible even with a larger vehicle. We stayed for one night.

Do not stay here! A dodgey man went past my van 10 times, walking and driving, proper gorping in. In the end he got out of his van and stood in front of my bonnet staring into my van. Fortunately, my partner was in a van a few spaces away so came over and asked him what he was doing. I reported him to the police. He was 6ft+, strawberry blond hair with a Pomeranian dog.
Similar to another location further down the road, it's day parking only. It's an okay spot, but I wouldn’t use it overnight. There is a limited flat space area, and cars use the road at speed.
Not far from the main road to the ferry. Perfect for a walk or to let your dog out. Didn’t sleep here.

Lovely quiet night close to nature. Good flat parking area with couple of picnic tables. No services. Had a couple of locals turn up, sit in their cars smoking, then move on.

Nice quiet spot to spend the night, road is not 100% flat but it's OK in places.
I decided not to stay here because I wanted somewhere abit more enclosed / private. It's a very pretty layby location on the edge of the woods, very spacious and plenty of spaces. no height restrictions.
We wanted somewhere quiet and it is. If you're just hiking for the day it's perfect but we'd warn against an overnight as a solo vehicle. It feels vulnerable as it's not so far from towns. A guy parked near to let his dog out and acted shifty. Similar story to another review from a site nearby. We moved on.
Great location if you like walks along trails. Great for dog lovers. Picnic benches available for BBQs.
