a feint hum from the main road some distance over the fields and the odd car passing on the road alongside. You are well away from the road and had no issues during a day and the night. I parked away from field entrance end and not disturbed at all.
Great park up, avoid parking near to the entrance to the field as it seems to annoy the dog walkers!
Layby now has tonnes of gravel in, but playing fields good for walking dogs...infact if you stop at the cricket field actually next to the layby you're shelled by trees and is a nicer view. We arrived in darkness so didn't see that til morning.
Seems a nice enough location, only stopped for dinner. playing fields at one end, so not too bad to let the dogs have a bit of time out of the van.
