Quiet night, nice dog walk if a little muddy (not surprisingly as it is January and we have had a lot of rain). Signal was fine with EE. Plenty of room but not level. Managed to get from o/s wheel on bank and level Left to Right and only a bit nose down. Forestry work didn’t cause any issue parking here.

Wasn't overly level and forestry are working on area. But excellent for a 1 night stop on our travels. Was quiet and had a peaceful night.

Not level and currently undergoing forestry work. very small narrow road to approach. Quite remote. Within 15 minutes of arriving there just at nightfall a car pulled up within 2metres of the van. We heard the car door open and 2 men arguing but couldn't make out what was being said over the sound of the max fan. A few minutes later they drove off. We packed up and left as didn't feel safe.

Currently filled with felled trees; impossible to park anywhere.

lovely little stop, right on the edge of a huge woodland area, plenty of space space for a larger van, but only room for a couple, there was already a smaller van there when we arrived bit there was enough room for both of us, very quiet overnight. perfect for dog walk in the morning. does slope a bit, but not enough to cause a problem.

The spot would be amazing even if it's not level, but unfortunately some locals have been dumping trash in a pile that is now bigger than a van.. so enraging!..

  • 3/5

Not level! If you must be level then this may not be for you. Pictures make the area look bigger than it actually is. The further back from the road the more it slopes. Quiet location off a small country road with few cars. Not fully covered by trees so some solar. 2 bar signal strength on Vodafone 4G and Three. Good for forest walk. Couple of horse riders but otherwise very quiet and peaceful.

used as a 1 night stop over. arrived around 9pm. no one else about . quite, clean and on the edge of the woods. nice walk with dog. got a good night's sleep and cooked breakfast and headed off . fiat doblo micro camper seemed perfect for this stop over .

Great spot. Quiet road, a little bit of signal, and nice walks and views. Not too far from civilisation either which is good for the next day!

Spend a night there on our way to Dover, slighly over 1 hour drive to ferry terminal. PROS: very quiet, nice drive there CONS: sloped, poor signal coverage, at the time being littered (some local used it to dump lld tyres and several plastic scacks of whatever)

Good spot om the edge of the woods for a quiet night if you're self contained. A few cars passed at night that we barely noticed. Very dark so amazing view of the stars. Poor Internet signal.

  • 2/5

This wasn't for us. Much smaller than the photos suggested and really quite slanted. Already one small van in the flattest part. We moved on!

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet area, you can hear the main road. But no louder than you would anywhere else. A couple of cars passed other than that very peaceful. Another van joined later in the evening.

Nice park up for the night! Right outside entrance to woods, went for walk in the AM. Not the flattest but couldn’t notice it in the van. Nice and quiet.

great little spot , no bins so leave no trace

Beau parking en bord de route forestière peu fréquentée. On s’y ai garé avec un cc capucine de 7m.

Immaculate spot, lovely little walk around the lake and really quiet. Entrance is a bit tight but made it look easy in my 5.8m van ;)

  • 5/5

A lovely location on a quiet road on the edge of the woods, almost perfect but not quite flat.

  • 4/5

Place très calme et sans aucun dérangement. Légèrement en pente. Peu de circulation.

  • 5/5

A lovely quiet spot surrounded by trees, fairly level. We had it all to ourselves. Woodburner on and no complaints, but obviously no outdoor fires. A few low branches along the lane, so if you are tall with a solar panel might be best to access from the south end of Poppingdale Lane.

nice quiet spot just off the side of a local road. only gave 4 stars because it is not flat, unless you park right right next to the road. 4G average signal, nothing else close by. not there best but not the worst stop.

Good for one night, we arrived at 5pm and made a small fire, neighbours complained and reported to police but police arrived and informed us we weren’t doing anything wrong and that the neighbours were just being nosey.. hope this helps!
