Très bon spot. Calme la nuit, parcours pédagogique sur les tourbières, tables et bancs en bois à disposition.

Bon spot, emplacement plat, de la place, vous êtes invités à donner via un QR code. La promenade dans la tourbière est intéressante et permet de monter en haut d'une tour pour observer la faune et la flore. aucun service et accès via un chemin assez accidenté, mais ça passe avec un VW T5 California.

Great place ! Leveled, sympathetic locals, silent, beautiful view, picnic tables. The suggested donation of 10£/night is 100% worth it.

endroit parfait. attention route un peu chaotique pour y aller mais rien de mechant.nous avions un camper van. c'est un parking de départ de randonnée d'une zone naturelle protégée. très calme. juste des randonneurs qui arrivent le matin à 8h. Pas d'honesty box mais un qr code pour faire un don pour protéger la nature. si je me souviens bien il est indiqué qu'on peut y dormir une ou 2 nuits max.

Arrivée sur place avec 1 van de garé. Nuit au calme, lieu très propre et une vie au réveil magnifique ! A refaire lors d'un prochain voyage !

Only irk was a local who approached my partner with a crisp packet and asked if it was his. Locals - it must be annoying when your special places are littered by mindless visitors but it’s also annoying to be wrongly marginalised and judged!

Lovely quiet night spent here, absolute silence! Made the requested £10 donation via the national nature reserves website....well worth it. Signs state max 2 vans, but there appears to be 3 bays marked out. A few locals present when we arrived on a Sunday evening, all very friendly and welcoming. Please donate to support the stay the night scheme.

Die Nacht im Flanders Moss car park war sehr ruhig. Inkl. mir standen wir zu viert hier. Ich stand relativ gerade ohne Keile. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist eine Single lane road mit Ausweichbuchten und vielen Schlaglöchern, war aber kein Problem. Der Spaziergang durchs Moor ist schön, aber recht kurz. Es sind Schilder vorhanden, die das Bleiben über Nacht beschreiben und es wird um eine Spende gebeten

Calma y naturaleza absoluta. Muy bonita las vistas. Recomendado para pasar un día y descansar en medio de la nada. El camino está mal para entrar y tienes que ir despacio, por lo demás no hay problema. Es una zona rural preciosa.

Don’t use postcode takes you to a farm, it’s the next turning, instead type in flanders moss national nature reserve car park. Stayed on may bank holiday only one other camper there really pleased as nowhere planned! Flat and good gravel base for poor weather. Lovely and quiet.

Parking très calme avec une belle vue. la route pour y accéder à beaucoup de nid de poule attention à votre véhicule. petit tour dans la réserve avant la nuit. Au réveil toujours personnes,ravie de voir énormément de moutons, d'entendre diverses oiseaux chanter. Pas de services juste un parking. Pour info j'avais envoyé un mail avant mon déplacement pour être certaine de pouvoir y dormir.

rustige omgeving, bij mooi natuurreservaat voor veenmos. diverse mossen en reptielen te vinden in het bos. vlakke parkeerplek, kleine donatie voor gebruik van de plek wordt gewaardeerd ten behoeve van het natuurreservaat.

très calme. au bord des champs et éloignés de la route. Très agréable pour une nuit. Plusieurs emplacements, bien plats.

Très bel endroit calme où les locaux viennent pour y faire la randonnée. Très belle vue sur les montagnes et les champs. Et nous avons quelques moutons comme voisins pour la nuit.

Super parking gratuit au calme et propre. Il n’y a pas de poubelles ni de toilettes. Nous n’avons croisé personne mis à part une voiture qui est venu passer une heure vers minuit mais d’après les anciens commentaires ce pourrait juste être des jeunes. Ils ne nous ont pas embêté en tout cas. Nous recommandons, le levé du soleil est magnifique !

lovely level carpark for nature reserve. picnic benches available. sign suggesting a donation of £10 to spend the night. decent enough 4G on EE, sufficient for socials/streaming videos. loses 1 star for the lack of bin, but would definitely come back if we're in the area. entrance road was fine for me, some potholes but that comes with the territory to be honest.

Die Anfahrt ist sehr holprig über einen Feldweg mit vielen Schlaglöchern, dafür ist der Platz sehr ruhig gelegen. abends lädt es zu einem kleinen Spaziergang durch das angrenzende Moor ein.

Large, flat car park with space for roughly 15 campers. Nice walk with a beautiful viewpoint from a tower. Lovely and peaceful. Would highly recommend! Midges weren't bad either which is a win.

Schöner, ebener und ruhiger Wanderparkplatz auf dem das Stehen über Nacht nicht verboten ist. Etwas ab vom Schuss und die Zufahrt hat etliche Schlaglöcher, aber es ist absolut ruhig und in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einen Aussichtsturm. Platz für 5-6 Wohnmobile.

Endroit très calme mais évidemment à côté d’une réserve pour insectes. Donc midges. Sinon belle promenade dans le Flanders Moos.

Schöner Parkplatz direkt am Moor. Man darf hier über Nacht stehen und kann dafür wenn man möchte £10 spenden. Bis ca. 10 Uhr kamen ständig Jugendliche mit ihren Autos und es war relativ viel los. Danach war dann aber komplette Stille und wir konnten gut schlafen. Einige Midges gab es leider auch.

parked up and walked the dog. watching a film with my daughter and having a cuppa at 4pm and what I can only assume are locals took photos of the van and took our reg. did not stay the night. very unwelcome. moved 20 mins away to forestry commission stay the night.

Beautiful lay-by. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful views and a small walking tour nearby. We had a beautiful night in the outdoors, with sun until it went down. This is an absolute must, but feel safe at the same time. We stayed there at the same time with 2 others. No problem at all.

Der Weg zum Parkplatz hat einige Schlaglöcher, aber mit dem Wohnmobil gut passierbar. einige Löcher wurden auch schon wieder aufgefüllt. Wir hatten den Platz komplett für uns erst um 10 kamen ein paar Wanderer. Schöner, ruhiger Spot für eine Nacht.

Lovely spot. Only us and another van, plenty of room and very quiet at night. Only negative was the number of potholes on the drive from the main road, but these are in the process of being filled in.

Magnifique réserve au calme, lieu préservé et idéale pour passer une nuit ou deux. Nous sommes restés deux nuits le 13 et 14 août.

Beautiful location, so peaceful. Nice and flat. Clean. No facilities, not even a bin. I know most people take their waste away but another camper allowed their dog to poop everywhere and didn't clean up. 4G intermittent. You can stay overnight. Saw red kites and lots of other wildlife.

Eigentlich ganz schön. Es gab für uns aber zwei KRASSE Kontras. 1. Die Strasse bis zum Platz ist wirklich grenzwertig. 2. Um ca. 19:00 Uhr war wie auf Knopfdruck das ganze Auto in fliegende Ameisen gehüllt. Sie quetschten sich sogar durch die Ritzen der Dachfenster. Es was apokalyptisch. Wir sahen nur noch fliegende Ameisen. Zudem waren bestimmt 50 Bremsen aussen am Auto & wir mussten fliehen.

Really nice, quiet spot. We got it to ourselves and had a lovely walk around spotting all the wildlife. Good phone coverage too.

Stayed here for two nights. A few visitors during the day. Very quiet and very dark at night. A short 20 minute circuit walk around the nature reserve. Good 4G. No bins.

We and an other motorhome were the only ones on this parking place. We went to a nearby village to see the fireworks due to the 5th of November. When returning at 8pm on our bicycles the gate towards the parking was closed for cars. So no one could come through with a car. This is just a perfect and very peaceful spot! The local ranger takes good care of this place!

Lovely clean park-up but on the November, Thursday night i stayed, there were about 6 cars come and go between 8pm and 1am, the last one around 1am thought it fun to hoot their horn on leaving. This is a lovely spot but i think it is somewhere the local youngsters come for their evenings out. There was no bother from them other than the late one hooting car horn.

Very quiet spot away from main roads and lights. I’ve stayed here a couple times and always got a good nights rest and there’s plenty space. It’s also relatively flat but I did need to level up.

Lovely quiet spot, just us and one other van for the night. Easy access down a half mile gravel track. We enjoyed a walk around the nature reserve in the morning and a coffee in Kippen at the Woodhouse (5 minute drive).

Please amend details to reflect that there is a suggested donation for overnight campervans. £10 not a lot to ask for a beautiful, historical nature reserve. We were happy to pay for such a clean, quiet spot.

Lovely view and very quiet. We were the only ones there all night. A few walkers in the morning. 5 mins from a small village.

Lovely peaceful spot with space for 5 or 6 vans, and no traffic noise. At sunset you can climb up the wooden tower to watch the sun go down behind the mountains to the west. The boardwalk path through the nature reserve is full of interest. Please make a donation to the nature reserve as a thank you for being allowed to stay!

Nice quiet place to spend the night. We arrived at around 6pm and there was one car in the car park. We were joined by one other camper but other than that had the place to ourselves. Walkers started turning up at around 9am.

Thanks. what a great find. we have turned up in mid November and not a soul here. great little walk around the peat bog before making supper. not too far from the main road either. no facilities but as an overnight just perfect

Quiet night spent here, had the place to ourselves, few walkers in the morning, and a herd of alpacas in the afternoon.

Lovely views and sufficiently off the beaten track ensures peace and quiet. Only a couple of cars into the early evening and one other MH with no issues. No litter bins or facilities so only leave footprints.

Stayed here last night 27/09/20 lovely quite spot with nice views & no issues. There are no bins here with it being a nature reserve so remember take all rubbish with you.
