The campsite has numerous rules, and the staff strictly enforces them. These include driving directions, walking directions, and how to position your car or tent in your spot. It doesn't give you that free feeling of camping!

Excellent camping avec toutes les commodités.Les blocs sanitaire sont bien entretenus et très fonctionnels. Son seul point négatif est qu’il est un peut cher.

Super gepflegter Platz mit grosszügigen Stellplätzen und Einrichtungen. Einige Wanderwege starten vom Platz. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Ein sehr sauberer und ruhiger Platz. Sind spontan hin gefahren mit 2 Pers Auto Dachzelt Hund. ECHT TEUER... 37£... der Weg in den Ort ist mit 5-7 Gehminuten voll ok. Es gibt im Ortskern ne Bar, wo die Jungen Locals hin gehen. Preise sind dementsprechend günstiger als in den zwei anderen Pubs (welche eher mit Touris besetzt und rappel voll waren). Der Hund war herzlich willkommen.

Sehr sehr ruhiger Campground. Strom kam extra, wir haben zu viert weniger als 2£ verbraucht (Licht, Kühlschrank, allle Geräte laden). Sanitär sauber. Wir sind abends noch nach Braemar auf ein Bier rein gelaufen. Keine 5 Min Fußweg.

Mooie nette camping met net sanitair. Grote plaatsen voor de camper. De ligging is heel mooi tussen de natuur en het dorp met faciliteiten.

We were only planning on staying one night but we stayed for two . A lovely campsite with two very helpful and friendly wardens, the campsite was very clean all facilities were spotless. Loved the wee walk through the woods with both our dogs , think they loved it as there were so many rabbits about . Friendly campsite and lots of space between others campers .

We called in here on the off chance of getting a space as we were passing. They were very friendly. £29 with EHU and a pre paid top up card for electric.( cost us 15p for the night!) I even charged my e-bike. We will come again.

Alles sauber und ordentlich große Stellplätze, einziges Manko ist die nächtliche Kanincheninvasion. Die nagen sogar Kabel an.

gepflegter Platz, aber absolut nicht kinderfreundlich und sehr strenge Regeln. Man muss exakt so auf dem Platz stehen wie vorgegeben (linksbündig), auch wenn der Van dann schräg steht oder man mit dem Strom nicht an den Anschluss reicht. Kinder dürfen nicht mal alleine auf den Spielplatz (der aus einer Schaukel besteht, sonst nichts). sehr viele, teils auch laute Hunde. aber sehr nah am Dorf!

Sehr guter Campingplatz. Freundlicher Empfang und gute Einweisung. Online Vorbuchung sehr empfehlenswert, da bereits sehr voll.

Sind hier mit einem selbst ausgebauten Citroen Berlingo angekommen. Nach 2 Wochen Rundreise durch Schottland haben wir erklärt bekommen, dass das gar kein Camper ist und wir hier folglich nicht übernachten dürfen. Fazit: wer keinen Camper von der Stange hat, einfach wegbleiben.

Mein ausgebauter Minivan wurde als Auto eingestuft und in diesem darf man auf diesem Platz nicht schlafen. Ich wurde abgewiesen

Booked a hard standing pitch online beforehand. It was a nice place to stay in a beautiful place. Good, clean facilities.

Wir wurden trotz online Reservierung und der erfolgten Bezahlung abgewiesen, weil wir laut der Auffassung der Betreiber kein Campervan sind, da wir kein Seitenfenster haben, lediglich die Heckscheiben und Dachfenster. Das Argument, dass wir in Deutschland eine Wohnmobilzulassung haben, wurde nicht akzeptiert. Wir haben das Geld zurückbekommen und mussten wieder fahren.

Mooie camping aan de rand van Braemar. We hebben hier twee nachten gestaan met onze Eriba caravan op een ruime plek. We hadden bij aankomst laat in de middag de allerlaatste plaats, wat een geluk. De staf was zeer vriendelijk en gaf uitleg over de locatie en stroomgebruik per chipkaart. Voor ons was dat slechts 1,12 Pond voor 2 nachten. Een prima systeem! De douche gaf veel en goed warm water.

Nice, clean campground with very friendly people. Next to Braemar. Have an afternoon tea at Fife Arms Hotel!

Services for £5- friendly staff

This is a really nice campsite, well looked after with lovely staff. Showers were excellent. Only five minutes walk to the village centre. The site is quite open with no privacy but the location means I will visit again. The price - £36 a night without electricity (electricity is metered if you want it, we used over £10 a night even with gas) makes it the most expensive site we’ve ever stayed at!

Camping propre, les places et alentours sont bien entretenus. On a été bien accueilli. Sanitaires propres et chauffés. Présence de machine à laver (5£) et sèche-linge (3£), ainsi qu'une pièce pour étendre le linge. Petite supérette à l'accueil. Un peu cher en pleine saison (36£ pour camping car sans électricité).

Super camping, bien aménagé et équipé. Tous est propre. Accueil top des gérants. A 5-7 min du village.

Terrain de camping vraiment très correct, accueil, emplacements, sanitaires. Je recommande.

Nice site in a Nice little village. Little bit of road noise from our pitch but that doesn’t bother us. Few dog friendly pubs and restaurants nearby

Konnten telefonisch niemanden erreichen, sind dann direkt hingefahren, wo uns eine Frau erzählte, dass man buchen müsse, um einen Platz zu bekommen. Wir mussten dann, obwohl sichtbar noch viele Plätze frei waren und es in Strömen regnete, weiter. Zum Platz selbst können wir nichts sagen

Spacious well laid out site. Great dog walking wood and surrounded with wonderful views. Paul and Amanda the wardens were probably the most welcoming hosts I've ever encountered in over 30 years of camping. Well worth a visit and we shall absolutely use again.

Wouldn’t let me stay the night as I’m car camping and they apparently don’t allow that as it’s not a van. Also wouldn’t accept money just to let me charge my phone and shower there. Seemed pretty heartless as the weather was bad and the local area is very expensive

Bon camping , propriétaire sympa. Emplacement propre et rigide sur gravier , bien d’aplomb. 28$ la nuit + 10$ pour l’électricité ( remboursement en fonction de la consommation ). Lieu super jolie , paysage ++. Je recommande. 4 étoiles pour le prix légèrement excessif.

Paul & Amanda are such characters and are a credit to this site. If it’s a nights stay you’re after or just wanting to do your services, they are more than happy to help! Can’t recommend this place enough. (They also love dogs and have a wood specifically for dog walking!)

Great campsite,staff are very helpful,even cleaning the toilets on Christmas Day. Only a few minutes walk from braemar village. we will be back

Friendly, professional site. Pitches lovely, great dog walking area, facilities were clean & modern. £26 a night for small campervan pitch, 2 adults and pay for what electricity you use. The site was booked up due to a local folk festival being on, however the weather warning must have put some people off. Would have stayed an extra night had the rain not been horrific. Short walk into the lovely, friendly village of Braemar. Would definitely stay again.

Super super freundlich, alles top. Man steht etwas nahe beieinander, aber das ist total ok für ein oder zwei Nächte. dafür ist das Dorf Braemar in 5min zu Fuss erreichbar für ein Abendessen oder Schlummertrunk. waschen 5 Pfund und 2 Pfund für 18min trocknen

Zeer vriendelijke man! Wij betaalden £5 voor het dumpen van ons afval, grijs en zwart water en het opnieuw vullen van de watertank. We verbleven er niet omdat er doorheen Cairgorns National Park oneindig mooie plekken zijn om te wildkamperen, maar als je deze mogelijkheid niet hebt lijkt me dit dé camping om te verblijven.

Obwohl der Betreiber Stress zu Highland-Games-Zeiten hatte, wurde uns freundlich die Möglichkeit gegeben für 5 GBP komplett zu Ver- und Entsorgen. Die Absage vor einer Woche, wegen Überfüllung, war sehr nett gehalten. Dem Ausehen nach zu urteilen ist das ein sauberer Platz

Sehr schön angelegter Campingplatz! Saubere Sanitäranlagen, insbesondere tolle Duschen mit viel Druck und Thermostat. Strom wird nach Verbrauch abgerechnet, bei uns waren es 2,80£ also ein Vielfaches weniger als wir in den letzten Wochen auf anderen Campingplätzen pauschal bezahlt haben.

Excellent campsite with super clean toilets and showers. Very friendly staff. Electricity is to be paid seperately with a card you can put money on (+/- £5 a night). You get refunded for any amount you didn’t use. Campsite has all the facilities you need. Stayed here for 2 nights with a 7m motorhome. Brilliant.

Camping wil geen grote campers, onaardige eigenaar, een verschrikking. Volgens de website was er nog plaats zat, maar op de camera keken ze naar de camper en zeiden ze er is geen plaats. Camper is 7,5mtr.

We kwamen langs om te vragen of we alles mochten legen en vullen. Dat mocht. Heel attent. De camping zag er overigens heel mooi uit. Maar wij gingen nog even verder

Die Lage des Platzes ist gut, das Personal ist freundlich. Die Sanitäreinrichtungen könnten öfter gereinigt werden. Die telefonische Erreichbarkeit ist grausam. Es läuft immer ein Band und es wird nicht zurück gerufen. Online Buchung hat bei mir nicht funktioniert. Wir sind dann einfach auf gut Glück hingefahren und haben einen Platz bekommen

We just used the service, friendly people, very clean toilets,showers , black and grey water services. If I would have know it was this great I would have spend the night here, big spots and great area. Thanks for the great service

Freundlicher Empfang und sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen. Die Duschen sind das Beste, was ich bislang auf einem Campingplatz erleben durfte. Perfekt nach einer langen Wanderung in der schönen Umgebung.

Perfect location with lovely trail by the river for dogs and their owners. The only thing missing- bin for biowaste.

Top Camping Platz mit guten Sanitäranlagen und einer guten ruhigen Lage.

Der Platz ist sehr schön gelegen und die Sanitäranlagen sind in gutem Zustand und sehr sauber. Für den elektrischen Strom muss eine Chipkarte mit aufgeladenem Guthaben bezogen werden, was natürlich etwas doof ist, da so der Strom ausserhalb der Bürozeiten jederzeit ausgehen kann (ist uns passiert).

Leider konnten wir hier, trotz bereits bezahlter Buchung, nicht bleiben. Es sind ausschließlich Wohnmobile mit Wohnmobilzulassung erlaubt. Keine umgebauten Vans mit Kfz Zulassung

Ich kann mich hier nur den Vorrednern anschließen, der Platz ist wirklich gut in Takt und glänzend sauber. Wir haben nur für 5£ entleert und aufgefüllt und die Mitarbeiter waren super Nett. Für den der die Infrastruktur von CP genießt ist hier super Aufgehoben. Ich empfehle (Insbesondere bei reiner V&E) kurz davor anzurufen und zu fragen ob das ok ist.

I generally try to avoid camping sites but this one was a very pleasant surprise. Spacious pitches, very friendly staff, super clean and everything well maintained. Loved it!

£5 for secrecies. Extremely clean site and access, very friendly owner. Cannot recommend a higher rating. Cleanest place I have seen in 28 countries.

Excellent site, friendly and helpful staff. Site cost low at £26 for van and 2 adults per night. Electric is on pay for use card system, you pay to charge the card with £5 and balance refunded on leaving. We used £0.75 in 13hrs but we were only charging batteries, boot driers and powering the fridge and diesel heating. They said it keeps the site cost down and I feel its fairer system.

Lovely site, we turned up on the day and they had space for us. Friendly staff who did ask if we had a proper camper (windows gas etc). Parked at no 19 with fantastic views to Glen Shee. Close to the toilets and showers which were immaculate. We didn’t use the EHU but each space has one if needed. Pay by usage, just ask at the shop for a card.

As stated above in the general info, site is most definitely NOT open in November! Despite signage at Glenshee Ski Centre, and at Balmoral Car Park, telling you to go there for CWD. Signs up on the caravan site gate saying it re-opens 1st December.

lovely site, very clean,friendly staff. has a small dog walk area which is fenced off. did not appear to be any issues with self conversions as per another review, my van is self converted ( looks professional ) saw some other vans that didn't have windows etc parked on site.

Toller Platz mit Sicht auf die blühenden Erika-Hügel. Royals um die Ecke, konnten Prince Charles auf dem Weg zum Gottesdienst sehen. Platz ist ruhig, sauber und freundlich.

Lovely, clean campsite with beautiful views. Town 5 mins walk with Co-op for groceries. We played golf in the sunshine and it was fabulous. Course 20 mins walk or a short drive away. Loved it here.

We were lucky and had one night on the site at pitch 12. Nice view and handy for the toilets and showers. Friendly staff. Would have stayed longer but the place is fully booked up.

Do not allow converted camper vans. Only motorhomes that are registered as such with the DVLA will be accepted (must have side window, gas, etc). The staff were very nice about it and gave us a refund.

Very nice staff, just needed to use the facilities for fresh & grey water and our toilette and he drew us a map where to drive on the campsite. 5£ is a fair price. Campsite looked nice and they had an info point.

Lovely campsite with super friendly and helpful staff who are some of the nicest people. Facilities are kept very clean and are all in one long useful block (other block is being refurbed). A few simple and fair instructions given upon arrival, same as many other campsites. Was able to book online on the day and select a pitch from map. A code is only needed for the barrier, not for facilities.

Lovely site, friendly reception staff and good little shop. Busy when we visited but just managed to book on the day. Hot, powerful showers and clean loos, never had to queue despite the site being more or less full. Good place to stop for the night and have a proper shower, top up the battery and fill up on water before moving on.

I've never been anywhere with so many rules. They tell you which way you have to face, which side of your space you have to park on. They even tell you which side of the road you have to walk on the way to the toilet and back. You need a door code for the toilets and showers, which they won't give you if you have your own on board.

Didn’t stay but they charged £5 to empty chemical waste and wouldn’t let us use the toilet - ridiculous.

After a hard and long Ride, they refused to let us in, because we have a commercial sign (our Company Name) at the sides of our campervan.
