Klidná noc na odstavné ploše nedaleko úžasného výhledu na západ slunce. Prašný terén, větrno. Při vjezdu zúžení cesty cca 2,3 m.

Unexpectedly good park up. Went for a short walk and came across the most beautiful coastal view. We were the first ones to park up but by bedtime there were two other campers with us. Dog walkers coming and going but nothing noisy. Didn’t notice the quarry noise when in the van. Would defo stay again.

Geschotteter, leicht unebener Parkplatz. Auch für größere Wohnmobile geeignet;Einfahrt etwas enger, aber kein Problem. Mülleimer vorhanden. Sehr ruhig. Steinskulpturen-Park, der hier beginnt, sehr sehenswert. Auch der Coast-Path ist schön zum Wandern.

pleasant spot, probably the last one in Portland, but if people keep leaving tissue paper all over the surrounding area it will get closed like the others...... bag up your tissue and take it to the bin

Fairly great space. Not too far from the beach & enough space for our party of two vans, with loads of space left for others. Nice and level, and flat. Not great for letting dogs off lead.

Nice and spacious, fairly level! We were one of five other vans and there was still space for more! Also had two bars of 4G, everyone we shared the space with were respectful. Bins also provided

A lot of people seem to have found this place now. At this time of year you need to arrive early to get a space.

Un lugar muy bueno para pasar la noche estábamos cuatro furgos y autocaravanas más. Junto a un polígono industrial. Lo único a medianoche apareció en coche con la música a todo volumen y gente gritando pero enseguida se fueron.

Easy overnight parking plenty of accompanying vans of all type, friendly people and plenty to do near by - do visit the Vern Cafe for breakfast :)

Le terrain n est pas tres plat et en terre mais cela, ne pose aucun probleme pour une nuit au calme .

Good free stop with bins & walks nearby from van in morning - few others stayed too & all left in morning with no rubbish trail . Wind shaking van was only reason not 5star but can’t do much about that!

Arrived late but two other campers already set up. Great site tucked away on the island located near the quarry with some great walks! Nice and quiet and a great night's sleep. Slight slope but didn't concern us. Would return and recommend if in the area.

a hidden gem. we stayed here last weekend for a night with 3 other motorhomes, no ehu or services. just a litter bin in the corner. but a fabulous walk around the carved boulders in an abandoned quarry. amazing scenery along the cliff, nice paths. but be careful with young ones.

Had a great stopover here, busy with dog walkers early in morning the evening. Great night's sleep with shop and a pub nearby. Lovely coastal walks along the cliff top and quarry.

Slight incline on most of the car park, but a little adjustment by running into the verge and you can get level ( ish ). Monday evening / night … quiet and calm. Parked alone with no other interruptions. Invigorating walk in the morning through the maze of the quarry sculpture park which is really nice. Great spot. One bin. Speedy 4g and 5G.

Nice quiet car park. 3 other vans using it at the same time as us, 2 were gone before 8am. Started to hear the units by half 8 but was a decent night.

Sehr ruhig, toller Schlafplatz! Es waren noch 3 weitere Camper über Nacht hier. Direkt dahinter befindet sich ein interessanter Steinskulpturen-Park. Toll für Spaziergänge - herrliche Aussicht! Keine weiteren Annehmlichkeiten

This is a lovely place to stay for the night, quiet until about 8am, felt very safe.

Ein wunderschöner, ruhiger Platz sowohl zum übernachten als auch als Ausgangspunkt für tolle Wanderungen über den Coast Path zu Portland Bill. Es standen zwei weitere Wohnmobile über nacht auf dem Platz. Morgens und abends kamen einige Spaziergänger mit ihren Hunden dazu. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Versteckter Platz hinter dem Industriegebiet. Kostenlos und nachts sehr ruhig. Abends kamen noch sechs weitere Mobile. Echter Geheimtipp. Keine Verbotsschilder.

Gravelled parking area, slightly sloping. Located behind industrial units so some noise during the day but nothing intrusive. Whilst there is no view from the parking area itself a very short walk leads to an amazing view of the sea and Chesil Beach. Very quiet during the night, we slept soundly.

Great spot, felt safe and a good starting point to walk along the coast. Decent phone signal. Got busy the weekend morning we were there with walkers but nobody seemed to mind the van

Really practical parking lot, spacious, a bit uneven and rather quit with some other campers. Hearable but moderate noises from the adjacent industrial area. We were really excited about the view from the coast walk and the little sculpture park that is accessible right from the parking spot, people walking their dogs also arrived in the morning.

Stayed here for one night on 29/04/2023. Nice little spot behind trading estate. It was quiet, with few other campers there. We went for a lovely walk, saw some stone sculptures. Perfect free place to park for a night.

Very popular spot with camper vans, at least 8 others there when we stayed. Very practical location with 15 min walk to shops.

Stayed here Sunday night 23/10/22. Very quiet until about 7:30am when the worker begin to arrive at the stone works. Recommended.

Has a great night sleep and woke up to lots of other campers. Lovely walk around the quarry and amazing sunset views from the cliffs

Ideal gelegen. Skulpturenpark sowie ewig langer Weg entlang der Küste. Das entschädigt definitiv für die verdeckte Sicht auf dem Parkplatz und lohnt allein schon die Anreise. Haben eine Nacht ohne Probleme hier schlafen können.

a bit random and ugly in my opinion. lots of other vans, next to industry... but then it also seems like no one is gonna kick you out, which has value as well. we slept there and moved first thing in the morning.

Free and out the way carpark next to a stone yard and stone sculpture park that looks like a rock junk yard as you drive past initially. walk to the cliffs or go down the chissel beach (a fair walk and its a reasonable hill coming back up. several van and motorhomes parked up easy with spaces left for walkers

Stayed last night 5 other vans and 4 cars but plenty of space peaceful nights sleep Sculpure Park well worth a look aroud

Idyllisch, sehr leise. Leider hat es mitten in der Nacht angefangen sehr stark nach rauch zu stinken, weshalb wir sogar fast den Stellplatz gewechselt hätten. Blieben dann doch da, ca um 6 hat es nicht mehr gestunken… die Umgebung ist sehr schön und läd zum Erkunden ein

Beautiful sunset, gorgeous views and a good coastal walk. Good place to stay and there were others staying there too. Very easy access would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for a night on two separate occasions, both times it’s been fantastic, no great view but I’m pretty sure it’s a very short walk to the cliffs and sea views, with the sculpture park a few minutes away. Plenty spaces, not all of them super level though, first time I was here there was a lot of rented vans here. Second time just me and one other. Great spot!

Beautiful walks around the cliffs and quarry minutes away. Was told ‘no overnighting’ by a friendly Dorset Wildlife Trust staffer at 9am, due to inconsiderate people leaving ‘mess’ in the bushes… but no signs up at the moment.

This little overnight spot was perfect! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night and it was perfect. It was super quiet, no one coming to tell you you can’t park here, granted the view around the actual car park is all bushes, however if you follow the little footpath on the left hand side of the car park, it’ll take you to the Tout Quarry Sculpture Park and Nature Reserve which was a beautiful hidden gem we found. If you then carry on walking a minute further you will come to a cliff top with the most stunning sea views. It was beautiful at sunset. So if you’re wanting for somewhere to stop around the Weymouth area, I would definitely stop here!

Excellent spot - reasonably level and very quiet. Short walk to the quarry with its stone carvings.

No Facilities. But a little gem of a place. Very quiet with lovely walks. Ideal for overnight campervan and motorhomes. Also over the road and industrial unit with a night watchman. Felt very safe and relaxed here

Stayed here 1 night, had no problems at all really quiet park up. there is lots of costal walks to take advantage of with a shop just ten mins down the road. the park up has a haulage company next to it with a 24hr night watchmen on the gate which puts your mind at ease.

Stayed here for 1 night, was joined by several other campers. No noise, no mess. Beginning of a fantastic coastal path around Tout Quarry. Spectacular spot for a sunset. Not quite as nice as the £10 parking spot but we chose to save our money!

Nice quiet spot, stayed here 2 nights while climbing around the island, the warehouses and stone circle give it a slight eery feeling about it, but there's no signs saying no overnight camping so it sets your mind at ease knowing your not gonna get moved on

Free parking for 72 hours. Stunning views. Shop, bar and garage 10 mins walk. Big car park, plenty of space.
