Huge lakefront gravelled lot with all the facilities available.
Clean toilets and shower. Just ask to see them all because there are many.
They have a dock with boats to the island, 180tl per return trip. They leave when there are 15 passengers.
The owner and employees leave after the last boat comes back, around sunset. They told me that they are open all year round.

Rli25/09/2025Parking a côté d’un restaurant Grand Deniz. Il n’y avait personne autre que le gardien qui a réclamé 400lt. Vidange cassette camping-car dans les toilettes turc. Departs des bateaux vers l’ile sont aléatoires. Que des qu’il y a 15 personnes (la traversé coute 8euro et entree dans l’eglise sur l’ile encore 24euro pour 2 personnes)

nous avons passé une nuit agréable nous étions seuls. la vue est magnifique. L'accueil agréable et le personnel sympathique. par contre les sanitaires et les douches sont sales et il n'y a pas d'eau chaude. nous avons payé 460TL avec électricité.
FCvanlife27/09/2024I changed the description because I think not everyone saw the facilities. I spent a calm night by myself right on the shore of the lake and charged my batteries in the morning while I went to the island. I recommend taking the first boat in the morning that will leave with the first 15 passengers. Around 13:00 there was a huge boat with loud music and 100-200 people about to leave.

Absolutely brilliant, lovely place, easy access to a boat trip to the island. Great staff, our only gripe was the shower was a trickle and luke warm, however, we would stay again. We stayed for 2 nights.

haroldyvonne11/05/2024prima plaats voor de nacht. er is een haventje gemaakt met en koffie/thee tentje. ook kun je van hier direct naar het eilandje. vriendelijke mensen. goed restaurant. schoon sanitair. na 22u gaat de poort op slot, om 07u weer open. wij betaalden $10 / 325TL inclusief stroom.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und standen 2 Nächte hier. Aktuell werden 350 TRY pro Nacht verlangt (egal ob man im Restaurant konsumiert oder nicht). Strom ist inklusive. Die Überfahrt auf die Insel Akdamar kostet 180 TRY und dort angekommen zahlt man nochmals € 12,-- für die Besichtigung.

Accueil très chaleureux alors qu’il est tard après que la gendarmerie nous a demandé d’aller en lieux sûr. Après deux thés et une visite de notre van (qui fait rêver le père conducteur de minibus rêvant de voyager), il nous conduit à côté du port pour nous montrer l’électricité.
piou3424/09/2023Endroit de repli après un contrôle de police le soir. Mais le prix du stationnement est à 270 livres branchement électrique compris ce que je trouve cher. Douches froides. Petit déjeuner à 175 livres bon et copieux. Accueil sans plus ni moins.

Electric hook up included. We had dinner & breakfast in the restaurant & the food was very good. We used the washing machine but unfortunately it didn’t spin so the clothes were clean but very wet! 200TL per van per night, washing machine 100TL per load.Boat trip 80TL each return to Akadamar Island. Water available at the boat quay next door.

Fuera de temporada estuvimos solos y abrió el acceso al muelle para que aparcásemos. Baños simples pero limpios estilo Turquia. El agua corre a raudales. Ningún ruido hasta por la mañana. Llenamos con manguera de agua mineral que baja directamente de la montaña. Le pondría 4 estrellas pero le pongo 5 para compensar el incomprensible 1 que otros le han puesto
chrismahu20/08/2022Guter Platz, um von dort mit dem Schiff zur Akdamar Insel zu fahren. Für 100 Lira konnten wir über Nacht stehen und haben lecker im Restaurant gegessen. Toiletten und Duschen waren nur mittelmässig sauber, deshalb Punktabzug. Nachts wird das Gatter geschlossen. Wir haben sehr angenehm geschlafen.
JBastos28/06/2021This place is awful. It is not a camping or even a parking. They asked us 100 TL for one night and 20 TL to use the washing machine (it's more expensive than what we paid in Istanbul), the entrance gate remained open all night and there is no guard, we did not feel safe, the toilets and showers are dirty, there is no shade to park ... and at 8 am, our windows were open because of the heat, they passed with a big very noisy smoke machine by dissipating pesticides for the insects! It was our worst camping experience in Turkey!

Very nice welcome, showers wc ok, free laundry machine, no other caravan service (no wc chimic) great kurdish dinner and breakfast, direct boat to the Van Island (Akdamar Church, 20 TL per person ), not very clean beach and lake here (because of the little port), 50 TL (2 adults 2 kids)per night. 4 stars because it's the only place similar to a real camping in the area
