(HS3 3HL) West Harris Trust Camping Spot 5

Was für eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Wir haben hier sehr gut geschlafen, da hier auch nicht viele Autos fuhren. An den WoMo Fahrer links, der keine 10 Pfund hatte und gerade sein Grauwasser abgelassen hat. Schämen Sie sich!! Wir befinden uns hier an einem besonderen und sensiblen Ökosystem. Machen Sie nicht alles kaputt. Danke!

Stunning views across the bay. 4 vans parked up when we were here. Loos at the beach car park and a good selection of waste bins. Lovely walk down to Luskentyre, cake shed is along the way. We would definitely stay here again

Wow!! The most amazing view! Room for 4 vans. Litter bin and benches and access to the beach too. Road is quiet. £5 donation...absolute bargain!

This is the second West Harris Trust stop along the road - not the first as stated in the comments. On the sign it’s designed CAMPING5 when texting to pay. There is easily space for 3 small or two larger vans if considerately parked! We shared with one other van

Enough room for 2 though we noted someone had parked so no one else could get on and then spread their deckchairs across the bit of gravel. Stones throw from the beach and on a single track road. As all spots, donate!! And take your rubbish home/or to a bin!

Stunning location, flat, stupendous views and right on the beach! Well worth the £5 to support the local area. One of the best views we have ever woken up to. And a beautiful sunset in the evening. Can’t recommend this place enough.

top cet endroit ! face à une très jolie baie, a marée basse c'est une immense plage à parcourir, a marée haute paysage complètement différent, plein de fleurs, belle lumière, petite route très peu passante vous serez tranquille en camping car ou en van, il y a de la place pour 4. des midges quand il n'y a pas de vent , comme quasiment partout...

Beautiful spot. Stayed for one night, with one other van. As with other spots in the area a £5 by text donation is suggested, well worth it and a very sensible way of managing the area. Very quiet in the evening a few midges appeared towards dusk.

Had a great one night stay here. There were 4 vans. One from Switzerland, Germany and 2 Uk. It was great to chat to them all. The view is great and even better than the ones down the road. We then went for a breakfast picnic down to the beach for the spectacular views and a swim. Well worth £5 and level.

Great, quiet wee spot next to the water. No bugs due to the wind. Single track road was extremely quiet both in the evening and morning.

Stunning place to park for the night - £5 payable to West Harris Trust which we paid by text message. We arrived on a stormy evening but awoke to the most amazing views.

Absolutely stunned when we woke up to the best sunrise over the hills! Arrived when it was dark so didn’t know what to expect, but woke up 2 happy campers with this spot!

Stunning spot overlooking the beach. Paid the £5 fee by phone as their PayPal link didn’t seem to work. Well worth the money especially as it’s used for conservation in the area.

Stayed here for 1 night after visiting Luskentyre beach. Very windy and raining while we were there but a great view in the morning. Paid £5 to Harris Trust online.

stayed July 21 for one night nice and peaceful luskentyre was really busy so this was a great spot views are fantastic.

Fantastic spot with a view and somewhat sheltered behind the small island. much better sheltered than the rest on this road, the end parking facility at the beach has a sign stating no overnight parking. no facilities but well worth the £5 donation for the views alone. shared the spot with 2 other campers and a tent but plenty room for all

Having traveled all around the UK and Europe I can honestly say this is my favourite spot to date. No facilities but quiet (we went in March - summer may be busy) and very beautiful. We preferred this spot as it’s a bit more tucked away than the spot further up the road with the benches, but it could be argued that one has better views. They’re close enough you can check them both out and choose your favourite!

This is a lovely spot for Campervans and Motorhomes run by The Isle of Harris. Payment is by Paypal for overnight stays and you are rewarded with a lovely view. Quiet spot from evening onwards. Several locations along the road, some larger than others.

Fantastic quiet little spots to stay all along this road with lovely views.no amenities although there are toilets right at the end of the road with parking .

There are a number of places to stay, amazing views. Good mobile signal on Vodafone. On one of them there is a bin and picnic benches
