Its an amazing campsite with stunning veiws all the showers, toilets are are immaculate great place to stay. has a pub, laundrette, arcade, shop, gift shop, camping shop . we are self sufficient so it was perfect for us its the largest campsite in the uk

  • 5/5

Brilliant and massive camping space for motorhomes.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Definitely the best site we have used on our 6 week tour of North Wales. situated in Cardigan Bay this site has everything to offer , emaculate toilet and shower facilities . site Restaurant, pub , games room supermarket etc everything you want is here . lots of space on the island , just pitch up wherever you want ! ! a utter bargain at £11.50 per adult per night .

  • 5/5

Staff are really friendly, the lady at reception said if you haven't been here before have a good drive round before settling on a pitch. The dunes and how they open out onto the beach really blew me away. Dogs aren't allowed in some areas, but overall dog friendly.

  • 4/5

A basic family oriented site. It's huge, and you park anywhere (there are no set pitches). It's next to what looks like an ex RAF base, and the site looks to be a part of that old base. The base is still used for some RAF exercises as we got to see an Atlas A400 fly low over us a few times. Gift shop, restaurant and pub are as expected for a camp site. Late checkout too.

  • 4/5

Unglaublich schöne Lage, massig Platz, Mindestabstsnx von 15 Metern werden vorgegeben, kein Strom, war für uns mit Solar kein Problem, das „ Restaurant „ ist allerdings grenzwertig, besser selber versorgen.

  • 5/5

A great, vast campsite, with amazing views inland and out to sea. We were here for three days Great facilities, shower block, cafe/restaurant/bar, shop and gift shop. Elsen point and motorhome grey waste dumping area. Toilet blocks and rubbish skips dotted around the whole site. Pitch anywhere you want. Make sure you check the tide times as the Causeway gets submerged.

  • 5/5

What a lovely campsite, absolutely huge without feeling massive! Lots of space just find your own space and enjoy the incredible views of the mountains, the sea the estuary just stunning. Direct access onto the beach. No EHU…. New toilet blocks very clean. Only one shower block but again lots of space.

  • 5/5

Another great visit. Food drink on site. Shops etc. very large area, but need to be quick or lucky to get a flat pitch. It’s quite a relaxed, non regimental place. Watched dolphins swimming from the beach.

  • 5/5

Great campsite - no height or length restrictions onto site, security gatehouse open 24/7, water taps dotted around site, toilet blocked dotted around site, skips dotted around site, lovely beach and views, camp shop on site, gift shop on site, bar & canteen on site, laundrette on site, dog friendly site with dog exercise field & dog free fields etc.

  • 4/5

  • 2/5

Great location, but huge place with only one shower area, not so clean, my soap disappeared, and pizza not that good

  • 5/5

The site is huge, there is no fixed pitches just drive around and park wherever you like. Amazing views of sea and then mountains the other side. No EHU available but plenty of water points. Pub & shops onsite were a great edition. Will be back!

  • 5/5

So much space, brilliant sea views, clean amenities & a chilled vibe. £23.50 for 2 adults & a dog for one night

  • 5/5

We always come back to shell island, the views are beautiful if you park you can wake up and see the sea, short down to the beach, they allow music until 10pm, fires and bbqs. There’s drinking water taps and toilets dotted all around. The shops, pub on site are excellent and it’s very cheap compared to some places. ✨

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Stunning views if you can find the right spot, decent value for money. We went early in the season, so it was fairly quiet can imagine it is very busy in the summer. Toilets were clean. Access to the beach, literally roll out of bed and onto the sand/pebbles/rocks

  • 1/5

Too complicated process before booking and even checking availability Registration, age, name and surname of all guests, addresses, maybe yet foot size... Ridiculous.

  • 5/5

Absolutely massive campsite with so many options for parking. Sand dunes, fields, meadows. Pleasantly surprised at price only £22 2 adults in our van, was expecting more as online says must book (we didn’t) so thought might be more expensive than that. Beautiful private beach, we swam at 8am and saw dolphins!! Would recommend this place, great pit stop, grey water, chemical, shops, laundry etc.

  • 5/5

Huge campsite with beautiful views and plenty of amenities. Pub serves good food and drinks until late. We’ll be coming back

  • 3/5

Has the novelty factor of being an island (check the tide times!). incredible views and choose your own pitches. unfortunately not very well run. litter everywhere and toilets weren't very clean. overpriced.

  • 4/5

Great place. Everything except ELH. July August adult £10.50. Child £5.00. May June September October adult £9.00. Child £4.00 Dog £2.50. All Per night. Fires permitted. But in pits and raised off ground. Use tent pegs to support BBQs off the grass. Fires allowed on beach. Just clean up after yourself. I parked in Gift shop field right on top of a hill that gave fantastic views. Defo recommend.

  • 5/5

Great place, amazing views. Lots of space to spread out. Very impressed every loo block had an accessible loo and an accessible shower at the main block.

  • 2/5

Nothing special and expensive for rough ground. Plenty of choice but difficult with a Medium sized Motorhome to get level. Bins needed emptying.

  • 5/5

    Awesome place!

  • 5/5

We stayed for 1 night weather fantastic so we stayed for another night probably going to stay yet another night as we weren’t sure due to previous comments. As you can gather we loved it maybe because it’s not the summer holiday season and we found a good spot. (We used levellers). Not use to just pitching up anywhere(very large campsite). Only rule you mustn’t be within 15 mtrs of other campers. Friendly staff well worth a visit or stay

  • 1/5

Horrible place. Very uneven ground and hardly any views, due to everything being so overgrown. There was litter everywhere and the bins were overflowing. The showers and toilets were disgusting and a fair few of them were broken. To top it off, we woke up to a massive dog poo outside our door!

  • 5/5

£10 per person per night plus additional charges for dogs and children. Great views Not a lot of flat spaces for motor homes. Need levellers.

  • 5/5

Massive campgrounds with a fair amount of campers. Pub, restaurant, gift shop and easy to find a spot with water views. More expensive than what’s said cost £19 for two people in a van for the night.

  • 5/5

One of the best campsites in the uk. Lovely facilities with a three shops and a restaurant and tavern. Great for the family and with 400 acres to course your pitch you can always find a great spot in the sand dunes , wood or beach. Just love this place.

  • 3/5

Great location. Camp where you want to. Huge area of green fields next to the beach. Not as cheap as advertised. £21 for campervan, two people and a dog. Few facilities. No dishwashing, one shower block (unheated), a few toilet blocks spread over the property. On the upside, there is plenty of breathing room.

  • 5/5

Can’t beat it here for the price....I would stay away in bank holidays in the summer as it gets very busy. We usually go around Easter and it is so quiet and mostly campers and motor homes there, not many braving tents. At non busy times you can get a lovely spot right on the beach. You may see dolphins if your lucky, last time I saw a huge Hare running along the sand whilst having my morning coffee
