The perfect (free) parking spot for us to explore the beautiful city of Troyes on a sleepy Sunday. One other motorhome and a handful of cars. A short walk into centre and an Intermarche handily placed just over the river. Looks to be another decent Aire option a little further down the road. Motorhomes well catered for. Fantastic from the city!
Zeer praktisch om deze mooie stad te bezoeken op een tiental minuten te voet. Gratis en naar onze mening veilig, wij verbleven er een nacht. Met dank aan de stad om deze plek te voorzien voor mobilhomes.

Parking sympa à 2 pas de la cathédrale et 10mn de la mairie. Nous y avons passé une nuit tranquille.

Ce 14/07/2025 une voiture de brûlé sur ce parking qui ne respirais pas du tout la confiance, une importe quantité de personne alcoolisé qui avait installé un campement de fortune. Vraiment pas safe!!!
Parked for walk in to town, which was only 15mins, town is nice. Didn't feel very safe for a night stopover, seemed to be homeless people wandering about, so moved on to a spot 15mins away at Lusigny-sur-Barse, reviewed separately.
We hebben de camper hier neergezet en zijn het centrum ingelopen (heel dichtbij!), dit vonden we top! Op de parking voelde het verder niet helemaal pluis. Zwervers, mensen in auto’s… ondanks 3 andere campers hebben wij besloten 5 min verder te rijden naar het nabijgelegen dorpje Villechetif om daar te slapen. Voelde veel beter en veiliger!!

Petite vue sur la Seine sympa, vraiment top pour visiter la ville, mais du bruit la nuit (avec des boules quies pas de soucis). Rassurant d’être à plusieurs CC. Le parking est dans une rue à sens unique donc se mettre tout de suite à gauche pour ne pas rater l’entrée :)
ok pour de la ville ! on entend clairement les routes et surtout celle qui passe derrière mais ça va pour du court terme. 10 min a pied du centre-ville. proche de l'accueil de jour pour SDF douche . café au réveil ! nickel pour les maraudes (je dis ça pour les routards pas les bourgeois ) intermarché pas loin. parfois les locaux des poubelles sont ouverts . relativement safe.
Nuit tranquille, boulangerie à 300 metres, centre-ville 15 mn à pied. Troyes vaut le détour!

Am Ostersonntag gestanden, daher ruhig. Für eine Nacht ok, direkt in der Stadt. Sehr gut, um die schöne Stadt mit Markthalle zu Fuss zu erkunden!

We would not stay here again. Traffic and people talking loud until 1am. one bin filled with empty larger cans and several thrown on the floor, so makes us uneasy using this site again.
De nuit, nous n'avons pas réussi à localiser cet emplacement. Il manque une adresse précise, Boulevard Henri Barbusse, vers les numéros élevés ... De plus, il y a actuellement de très nombreux travaux dans le quartier, avec des rues barrées la nuit ...
Parfait pour la visite à pied de cette très belle ville !
Nous comptions nous garer pour visiter Troyes et suite aux commentaires de jeanot13 sur son cambriolage, nous avons déjeuné dans le camion et nous sommes repartis, pour nous 6 cambriolages en 42 ans , c'est bon!!! Dommage, nous avions lu de jolies choses sur la vieille ville.

Je redoutais un peu cette emplacement en vue des commentaires, mais la nuit fût calme malgré le commencement d'un véhicule stationnant à côté de nous musique assez forte et la personne moyennement alcoolisé et quelques pétards en début de soirée mais au finale tous c'est réglé vers 23h00 pour dormir tranquille, et l'accès à pieds en ville est de 15mn

Great FREE stopover. 10 minutes walk to the cathedral area. Lovely town. Slight road noise from 7 but can’t grumble it’s free. There was about 8 of us over the night we was there. Felt safe.
We arrived on a Monday around 5pm and there was plenty of space. A 20min walk from the lovely historic centre of Troyes. The night was very quiet.
Le parking est très bien pour visiter Troyes, mais malheureusement nôtre camping-car a été fracturé pendant notre absence. Bilan, baie de cuisine cassée, tous les rangements vidés au sol et tablettes, GPS et autres casques audio dérobés. Un camping-cariste averti en vaut deux !
Carpark is a five minute was from the cathedral and ten minutes into the centre of Troyes. It’s a free carpark and motorhomes tend to park at the edge near to the river (although cars do park here too). There’s no barrier. We arrived at about 2pm and got the last spot. Road noise as expected at night and some drunken noises but nothing to worry us. It’s perfect for visiting this beautiful city.
A Friday night, a bit of road noise but we slept. Try to arrive after 5pm as the design school opposite use it as a car park and it empties then.

Pour avoir testé à plusieurs reprises ce parking en bord de Seine sans service mais à 10mn à pied du centre historique, un belle emplacement aussi bien en journée que pour la nuit pas de limite de hauteur et pas d’informations. Poubelles sur place à lieu très propre à respecter. Bon séjour.
Stayed New Year’s Eve. Great spot very quiet but close to the centre. There is a supermarket at the end of the street across the bridge. Bins are close. Would definitely use again

Parking gratuit, ombragé, plat, sans services, proche du centre. A côté d'une université, après 18h, il n'y a plus de voitures. Peu de passage la nuit, mais cela recommence assez tôt le matin.
Goeie plek om de stad te verkennen. Ruim (ook voor onze cc van 7m), maar houd rekening met de uren van de school. Wij kwamen toe rond 17u30 en toen reden veel studenten weg. Wij brachten er een rustige nacht door!

(dès 00H00). Après, oui c'est une ville.. ATTENTION : PARKING FERMÉ LE 01/10/23 POUR UN ÉVÈNEMENT Bonne route ! .
10 min bis zur tollen Innenstadt. Wir sind aber weiter, da es Freitag Nacht es doch nicht so ruhig war, wie bisher beschrieben. Stellplatz nicht direkt ausgeschrieben aber es passen 4 hintereinander.
parfait endroit devant la Seine en tout petit fleuve. Sous la verdure quand il fait chaud et à 2 pas du centre. J'y ai passé deux nuits du coup et vraiment relativement calme mais on y dort bien. Je préfère être là qu'au camping ou tout le monde s'épie sur des places bien trop grandes et sans âme

A good stop for lunch easy walk into town and if motorhome spaces are full the car spaces are long enough for a 7m van .
Super qua locatie dicht bij het centrum en ruim voldoende plaats voor meerdere campers. Helaas was er geroep van enkele dronken personen tot na 1u 's nachts waarop we besloten ergens anders te proberen slapen.
We spent a very peaceful night here in our 7.5m Motorhome with no bother. We had first tried the municipal site but it was full, arrived here at 4pm. It’s a 6 minute walk to the stunning Cathédrale Saint-Pierre Saint-Paul, which is a must see, such a beautiful medieval town, full of history and stunning buildings.

Perfekt gelegener Parkplatz für die Stadtbesichtigung. Lange Womos können mit dem Heck überhängend zur Wiese parken. Kurzer Weg bis in die Altstadt.
Guter Parkplatz, nicht für Wohnmobile ausgewiesen. Ein paar einzelne Fachwerkhäuser in der Stadt werden renoviert. Die allermeisten hätten es dringend nötig, sie verfallen langsam aber sicher. Aus städtebaulicher Sicht lohnt sich ein Besuch nicht wirklich. Dafür kann man dort abends gemütlich im Freien essen gehen.
Parfait pour visiter la vieille ville de Troyes qui est à 10 mn à pied. Parfait aussi pour une nuit calme même si la rue est toute proche...nous avons très bien dormi dans un silence absolu ! Arrivés à 18h00, seulement un ccar installé, nous étions 4 au matin. Parking prévu pour 6 ccars. Nous avons fait marcher les commerces : deux apéros et une dégustation d'andouillette AAAAA !
Stayed here last night. Fairly convenient location for Troyes centre but there were a few local drunks around the car park when we first arrived which was around 10pm. They went not long after though and it was a relatively quiet night. There is a supermarket and bakery not far from this car park, however there didn't seem to be any public toilets anywhere nearby.
Nice stopover en route to Italy. Quiet car park next to the river. Close to the fabulous town centre. Stayed 1 night with no issues.

Should note at the moment half of the Road side parking has 'no parking' signs up with a notice for event 11-12th May. I bow to previous comments there is a lot of room for camping cars but to me apart from 5 parallel to kerb parking spots at around 6.5mtrs? the rest are car parking size.
Plenty of space for small and larger campervans (in April) with 5-10min walk into the centre of Troyes (bars, restaurants etc). A quiet spot at night on the riverbank with relatively level gradient, but starts to get noisy weekday mornings approx 7am and the car park starts to get busy with commuters. Fine for an overnight stay, no services.

Fine night along the river. We stayed for one night, on the night of the World Cup final and it was a very quiet and peaceful night. You are close to the main road but didn’t seem too busy. 5 min walk into the centre of Troyes. 2 other campers there when we were.

Then this spot was empty and we parked up fine, had a lovely day walking around Troyes the next day. The fries from Le Dix Dix are amazing!!!

Perfect place to park if you’re visiting Troyes for the day, as we were. Plenty of room (way more than 6!) when we arrived about 12:30 on a Sunday.
Very noisy. The street is pretty busy which starts at 5 in the morning, schools - with offcourse yelling kids - nearby. Not great to sleep, but perfect to visit the city. Easy to walk or cycle. Troyes is worth a visit. If you have a big campingcar its best to spend the night to save a parkingspot.
très bien,nous avons pu visiter Troyes, le centre ville,qui est à 5 mn à pieds. par contre très bruyant à partir de 17h,nous avons préféré dormir à lusigny sur base à 14 km. un Havre de paix.
The city is well worth a visit , approximately a 15 minutes stroll. Parking area is level but adjacent to a busy road and noisy unit 2300 hrs and again in the morning from 0500.
Sehr guter Platz um die Stadt zu besichtigen und für eine Nacht. Alles ist super zu Fuß zu erreichen! Leider keine Toiletten.. aber die findet man auch in Restaurants etc :) Wir empfanden es als sehr ruhig. Auch Platz für größere Wohnmobile/Vans

Schöner Parkplatz, die Altstadt ist locker zu Fuß erreichbar. Leider ist es nachts durch die Straße nicht ruhig und tagsüber sehr laut... Schade.

Bien pour la journée, départ pour visiter la ville facilement accessible. Mais attention, le parking est situé entre La Seine et un boulevard ( de 3 voies à sens unique ! ) Autant dire qu’il faut avoir un sommeil profond pour dormir avant minuit ou après 6 heures.

Goede plaats goed geslapen, wel oppassen dat je nog uit je plaats geraakt want er parkeren auto’s naast u. Stadscentrum gemakkelijk te voet bereikbaar. Geen verbodsborden gezien en geen boete ontvangen.
Au bord de la Seine , calme, et comme dit précédemment , proche du centre ville qui est superbe…mais hélas , le matin, nous avons trouvé sur le pare brise , un papier nous indiquant que nous allions recevoir une contravention , que nous allons contester car il n y a aucun panneau interdisant le stationnement et nous étions correctement garé.
Wir wollten Troyes besichtigen und entschieden uns für diesen Parkplatz. Außer uns standen dort weitere 3 Womos und einige PKW's. Nicht ganz leise, für eine Nacht war es jedoch okay. 10 Minuten zu Fuß in die schöne Altstadt.
Dicht bij centrum, de kathedraal op 7 minuten wandelen. bakker op 200 meter. lekkere restaurantjes en brasseries dichtbij, veilig. Beetje verkeerslawaai snachts. Dit is een heel goede plaats. Geschikt voor camper 7m.
Parking très grand où il est très facile de se garer, bien fréquenté, très facile d’accès. C’est l’idéal pour y déposer le camping car et faire la visite de la ville de Troyes. Il est vraiment proche du centre. Je recommande.
Für die Nacht ungeeignet. Für die Besichtigung dieser schönen Stadt jedoch umso mehr, wobei die Umgebung nicht gerade einen sicheren Eindruck macht. Wir haben unsere Wertsachen sicherheitshalber komplett mit in die Stadt genommen.

Très bon endroit pour un simple parking, il est spacieux, gratuit et vraiment très proche du centre ville. La nuit a été très calme. Après, comme dans toute ville, il est normal qu'il commence à y avoir de la circulation vers 8h. Si je dois me poser à nouveau à Troyes, j'y retournerais.
Nous y avons passé pour la deuxième fois une nuit lors de notre étape ! Nuit relativement calme ! Mais très belle ville à visiter tant de jour que de nuit ! Troyes mériterait une aire dédiée au Mothorhome !
Nous y avons fait une pause pour manger des riverains nous on mis en garde sur une personne qui casser les vitres des voitures nous allons nous garer plus loin pour visiter la ville.

It is on the Seine but car park is very small and designed for cars not motorhomes. Anything longer than a short wheel base van won’t fit. Also very busy on a Wednesday afternoon. It’s just a car park, free but no amenities
Donne pas trop envie, mais passer une bonne nuit. Centre très accessible à pied, nous avons pu y faire une petite balade semi-nocturne (de belle décoration pour Noël)
