Just to warn this apparently has a CCTV camera and a sign saying no caravans. There is a small lay-by about 15 metres before you get to car park which also might be worth considering

VanTourer_202015/05/2024Wir haben Upnor Castle besucht, waren anschließend sehr lecker im Kings Arms essen und haben eine ungestörte, sehr ruhige Nacht hier verbracht. Der Parkplatz ist Videoüberwacht. Somit sollte sich das Problem mit Einbruchsversuchen erledigt haben. Wir haben uns nicht unsicher gefühlt und es liefen hier auch keine "dunklen Gestalten" herum.

I hadn’t seen the negative comments before parking here. I probably wouldn’t have parked up if I had. But it has been absolutely fine, on a quiet Sunday evening. Pretty flat with a bit of woodland to the side . Max stay 20 hours, as per sign. The village is very quaint, with pubs and views over the river.

Be careful of leaving vehicle for too long. Live local and vehicles do encounter break inns and smashed windows. Not too often but been happening for years by kids in cars.

No space for long wheel base van without blocking access to other spaces.
Wendh02/09/2020Really quiet place to park. Arrived late so no problems parking ... really close to high street which really only has 2 pubs ... excellent for walking and Upnor Castle

Stayed here Sunday 23/6/19, some of the pubs closed at 8pm but 2 out of the 4 remained open.

Ausschließlich PKW-Stellplätze, wir mit unseren gerade mal 6 Metern haben noch einen Platz gefunden, auf dem wir mit unserer Überlänge niemanden behindern. Für Wohnmobile mit mehr als 6 Metern Länge nicht geeignet.
