Good place to stay for the night and to visit the town (the Roman Lamp museum is worth a quick visit). All facilities are available next door at Intermarche for filling and emptying. Fuel and LPG are the other side of town at the small Intermarche. Both of them as well as Lidl have laundry centres.

J'ai pu effectuer mon plein d'eau et laisser sereinement mon camping-car ici pour aller jusqu'à l'Office du tourisme et visiter la basilique à pied. Effectivement, un évènement semble se préparer pour le weekend prochain, il ne sera sans doute pas possible de s'y rendre durant la manifestation. Aucun bruit et levé du soleil. (nous étions garé derrière le moulin)

Emplacement idéalement situé pour visiter la ville. Nous avons profité de la présence du meunier pour lui acheter de la farine de blé faite directement au moulin. La nuit a été très calme. Merci à la municipalité pour son accueil. Bon séjour au Portugal.

Grand parking avec vue sur le moulin. N'allez pas vous garer derrière car vous serez dérangé par les ventilateurs de l'Intermarché qui est juste au pied du parking. Pas de service, allez au Lidl à côté pour ça. Et comme dit dans un commentaire précédent, le parking a beau être vaste, un camping car est venu se coller au nôtre...

Très bien pour y passer la nuit, malgré quelques nuisances sonores. Les toilettes publiques étaient propres.

Très bien pour une nuit. Il y a des toilettes publiques très propres! Le village de Castro Verde est très mignon ainsi que son petit moulin. Le seul soucis est que nous ne savions pas trop si nous avions le droit de dormir ici et c'est entouré d'habitations. Sinon la nuit a été très calme.

Explanada grande y tranquila, aunque hay algo de tráfico alrededor de la explanada. Dispone de baños públicos.

Great place to spend the night. It was quiet and public toilets are available. Info for planning your stay: The space is used for a market the first Wednesday every month.

Un endroit bien pratique pour y passer une nuit et en profiter pour visiter la ville. Vous y trouverez de quoi vous restaurez, et la nuit etait calme, nous n'avons pas rencontré de problèmes. A recommander pour une étape dans cette ville.

Oui, un beau grand parking pour faire une étape, sauf que le mercredi 4 avril était le marché mensuel et nous avons déménagé vers le parking Intermarché où l on peut faire les services.

We stayed here last night. Peaceful and quiet. It is a lovely little town with some interesting buildings. Fresh water available. Services at Lidl and Intermarche, which are both close by. We recommend and will hopefully return one day.

Haben gut geschlafen an der Mühle. Platz ohne Ende. Ganz in der Nähe von Intermarschè und damit keine Sorgen mit Toilette, V E und einkaufen. Herrliche Basilika im Ort.

Très bonne endroit. Il y a également le wifi au niveau de l'entrée. Nous avons profité pour faire changer nos pneu chez Auto pneu Candeias a la sortie du village au top service rapide et grand stock.

Alors là… c’est LE zéro défaut ! Immense, propre, plat, super vues, commerces et services à deux pas. Village superbe. Nickel avec des chiens (on ramasse bien entendu). Absolument rien de négatif à dire. Croisons les doigts pour que personne n’abuse et que cela perdure. Un IMMENSE merci à la commune pour cet accueil.

Ein sehr großer Parkplatz der ideal liegt um das schöne Städtchen zu besichtigen. Die Nacht war ruhig . Nebenan, bei Lidl , kann man Entsorgen , einkaufen und Wäsche waschen. Wasser soll es auch geben aber das haben wir nicht probiert denn auf dem Parkplatz gibt es , hinten neben dem Wohnhaus und der Mühle , einen Wasserhahn. Der Stadt sei Dank für diesen Platz. Im Ort waren wir gut einkaufen!

Auf der Durchreise sind wir immer mal wieder dort, jedoch ist es tags wie nachts recht laut. Am leisesten von Sonntag- auf Montagnacht. Schöner Ort, Samstag kleiner Markt oben im Dorf. Trotz grOßem Platz lieben die Camper zu "kuscheln" :-(

Quiet night, beautiful views, great signal. Lots of dog walkers. Don’t park too close to the windmill though because the following morning an elderly man came out and looked very angry about the vans- he didn’t approach me but I could tell he was unhappy, so I moved further away and everything was fine. The Intermarché over the road has a great motorhome-friendly car wash.

Ebene, grosse Fläche. Nachts sehr ruhig und am Morgen zu Fuß zum Einkaufen. Wir waren sieben Camper, standen hinten an der Mühle und hatten alle reichlich Platz. Der Ort ist übrigens sehr schön (!) geschmückt zu Weihnachten. Abends sehr beeindruckend.

C’est tellement grand qu’on ne sait pas où se garer ! Nous avons dormi au pied du moulin et c’était bien. Eau non potable au fond du parking et sanitaire au milieu.

rustige en ruime plaats om te overnachten in deze periode. nieuwe serviceplaats bij de lidl zelfs met 6 grote camperplaatsen voor max 24 uur. tijdens de openingsuren is het mogelijk om water te vullen, toestemming wordt gegeven bij kassa 1. en het is ook mogelijk om je was te doen.

Guter Schlafsplatz für die Durchreise. Toiletten am Ende des Parkplatzes auf der linken Seite (in Richtung Mühle) durchgehend geöffnet. Nachts ab 21.30 Uhr wenig Verkehr und ruhig. Morgens ab 7/ 7.30 Uhr laut. Lidl und Intermache 200 Meter entfernt. kostenloses WLAN der Stadt

Très bien pour une nuit. Pas de pb. Bcp de place. Village très mignon

Nuit très calme dans l'ensemble, les sanitaires propres, par contre derrière le moulin il y a plein de détritus par terre . Je ne comprend pas pourquoi alors qu'il y a des poubelles un peu partout. Ce qui est sûr ce ne sont pas des camping-caristes, nous nous respectons l'environnement et la nature .

Pasamos una noche muy tranquila aquí, cerca del centro y un supermercado abajo. Baño público abierto 24h. Único problema es que es un parking y no hay ninguna sombra, puede pasar calor en verano.

Doing the N2 from Faro to Chaves. Stopped here on the first night. Enormous lot with only a half dozen motorhomes. Very, very clean. It was Saturday night, so the biker club played some music, but it was NOT very loud (and we were right next to the building). No services, but we knew that. Perfectly suitable place to spend the night. Intermarché 200m away.

Grand parking en pavés et sable sur le champ de foire, à côté du moulin. Pas de services (vidanges et eau non potable à Intermarché juste en dessous). Pas de circulation la nuit, mais les motards du club voisin ont fait hurler les moteurs comme des malades jusqu'à tard dans la nuit). Jolie petite ville à visiter.

Great stop over to visit the town of Catso Verde. This is flat gound if you parl towards the back mear the windmill There is a public toilet and wash basin in the car park, and if you look over the bank an intermarche with black waste and grey waste - the water there is NON POTABLE so not for drinking Thank you to the council for this opportunity,

Nous avons passé 2 jours ici c était parfait et agréable. Les 2 nuits sans bruit. La petite ville est tranquille et agréable, les gens sont très sympa. Stationné vers le moulin c est plat et plus calme. Je recommande cette aire.

Pasamos una noche muy tranquila. En la mañana nos dimos cuenta que al final, en la ladera que da hacia el intermarche, que está abajo, hay unas cajas de toma de electricidad, no las probamos, pero ahí están.

Great place to stopover. lovely bars and restaurants withing very short walking distance, also Intermarche supermarket. Toilets too. Close to the road but didn't hear any traffic during the night.

Brilliant place to park up. We parked by the windmill so we had the view of the town one side and overlooked the intermarche the other side. There were vans parked in the intermarche that looked fine but up here we had the views. 10 mins walk into town. 2 mins walk down some steps for the supermarket. Toilets here which we didn't use. Had a good quiet nights sleep. Would recommend

Tentamos ir para o do inter,mas realmente as máquinas fazem muito barulho. Viemos para o parque de feiras ao lado do moinho de vento. Passamos a noite sem problema, super tranquilo. Ter só atenção se não irá haver mercado no dia a seguir

Peaceful night next to the windmill, which was operating. The windmill keeper looked at us a bit funny when we arrived but told us we were welcome to stay when I spoke to him - well worth staying just to see the mill in action! We used the services at the intermarche, but this is the place to stop over without question. Take other's advice and drive to the quiet end of the big carpark.

Prachtige, grote parkeerplaats aan de rand van het stadje. Gratis en dicht bij een intermarché. Gratis water een nette toiletten. Als je doorrijdt tot het einde heb je een mooi uitzicht over de omgeving.

Nous y avons super bien dormi vendredi soir, , près du moulin, aucun bruit... Nous étions 6 camping-car mais pas pas du tout coller Le top.

El lugar está muy bien, es cierto que hay que alejarse de los camiones que salen sobre las 6 de la mañana y hacen ruido.

L'endroit est magnifique et prés du centre il faut privilégier la partie haute à coté du moulin c'est plus plat. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance nous sommes arrivés le soir de mardi gras et une soirée techno était organisée dans ce qui doit être une maison des jeunes à gauche du moulin nous avons du quitter les lieux à deux heures du matin afin de trouver un endroit plus calme pour dormir.

Did our washing and shopping at Intermarche then found this 600m away. With 7 others in February. Several places to eat and drink nearby. Didn't disturb us. We did a walk of places of interest round the town. You can go in the windmill nearby. No services except bins and toilets. Very quiet although trucks nearby leave around 6am so park away from them if light sleeper. Thank you town.

Leuke plek voor te overnachten, ook een gezellig dorp om te bezoeken. De lokatie is een marktterrein met openbaar toilet, wel zijn er nog camperraars die het chemisch toilet moeten legen in het openbaar toilet, zeker als er 50 mtr. verder een serviceplek is bij de intermarché, beschamend!!

Spent a peaceful evening, intermache and service point 2 min walk. was a bit windy but no issues. would use again. seems like the water at service point is not portable? there are taps in the car park but no information as to portable or not.

Il y a les services gratuits à intermarché le village est très joli. je mets une étoile car je ne conseille à personne de venir. je me suis senti dévisagé genre c est qui cet inconnu on vous regarde on ne vous dit pas bonjour. cest mon 2eme jour au portugal bonjour l accueil....

Parque de estacionamento normal que serve de recinto para a realização das feiras municipais. Muito tranquilo durante a noite. Algum movimento durante o dia mas tudo dentro da normalidade. Atenção ao calendário das feiras municipais. Poderá estar encerrado para a realização das feiras.

Good place, spent here the night without issues. No shadow places are the only inconvenience.

Well worth getting here early not for parking as their is loads available but to enjoy the cafes and walk the small streets. My kind of Portugal Town worth retiring in. Also at the Infermache down the road is free grey and black water emptying and fresh water refill even with outside washing machines all next to a great supermarket

Simple location, close to the center and with supermarket very close. I recommend.

What a beautiful spot. Very peaceful overnight just the occasional dog barking in the distance. There is a clock with bells but didn’t hear it at night. Overlooking the countryside with Intermarche just below us with free Aire plus laundry.

Superbe endroit, belle vue sur les vallons parsemés de chêne Liège. Eau et vidange à l'inter marche. Petit Resto sympa O Bombeiro à l'entrée de la ville.

En effet vaste aire. Même si je n’ai pas vu de logo cc, je pense que l’arrêt jour/nuit est autorisé. Remarque: l’entrée principale est la « sortie »! Donc contourner le parking pour voir l’entrée. Privilégier le haut de l’espace derrière le moulin à vent: vue magnifique sur le village (surtout la nuit) et les environs. Vous descendez quelques marches et vous êtes à l’Intermarché! Et bon petit restau en face la « sortie » de l’autre côté de la rue. Tranquillité garantie mais en effet pas d’ombre.

Vidange eaux grises et noires et eau gratuite (signalez non potable) à l Intermarché à côté de la laverie libre service. En face du parking.

Beaucoup de places, très calme, près du centre, Intermarché à proximité. Wifi gratuit possible avec code à l'office du tourisme. Basilique splendide.

Oup je défie quiconque de trouver de l'ombre :-)..chouette et spacieux endroit.

Arrêt ce midi pour déjeuner, nombreuses places de parking à l'ombre. Nuit certainement possible.
